Pokémon TCG Online Bug & Improvement Thread

They should also fix the mulligan glitch. (The last card that gets put back into the deck is the first card you draw after mulling)

Changing it to 90 seconds helps, but its still not perfect. If the person disconnects, then comes back, then leaves again, it apparently just keeps on counting time. The person I am playing against while I type this did exactly this. Does that clock in the corner eventually hit zero? It already went around once, and gave them another 15 minutes.

EDIT: Just went around again, and gave them another 20 minutes. Are these games even timed?
EDIT-2: It game them another-another 20 minutes. There is no way these games are really timed.

The majority of my losses are from timing out. Because of the lag issues, it's pretty much impossible not to hit the 20 minute mark. Everytime I hit 20 minutes, it automatically concedes the game for me, even when I am well ahead on prizes, or pokemon sent to the lost zone and am about to win the game.

I guess you guys are lucky that the timer just goes around again.

Though lag issues do create a need for more than 20 minutes per person per game, there should be some time limit or inactivity limit. If you take over 20 minutes to pick two energies from the discard pile with an Energy Retrieval, you deserve to lose the game, if only so that there is a winner, and both players can move on.

Yeah, I think a minute of inactivity should at the very least be a pass, maybe a prize penalty.

In reality, they just need to figure out how they can fix the game so it doesn't lag.

I hope that they have some kind of 3DS Virtual Download or Cartridge game planned for this too, as I assume lag would become a non-issue in that format.

I thought of something else. Does the search through public trade offers work for anyone else? Im trying to obtain a Gengar Prime, and surely there must be someone offering one somewhere.

The search for public feature does not work. Otoh, i have a gengar on tcgo. if interested, pm me.

Why does the public trade sreach thing have an option for "look for people looking for the same cards I do"

Is it just me or does that make literally no sense xD?

Just a quick note, I retreated my active Entei Suicune Legend with Dodrio on my bench and it made me pay the retreat cost....am I supposed to do something to activate Dodrio's retreat aid??

I was wondering if this had happened to anyone else. I was playing against someone where I had 1 prize left and they had six. I used an N, and we each only drew one card. Anyone else experienced this?

N is broken. It shuffle draws however many you have for both players. So if it's 6-1 against you; both players get six cards.

I think something like this would be very cool. Have something like 1 minute of inactivity is a pass, 2 turns in a row of 1 minute of inactivity is a prize penalty, and 5 minutes of inactivity is a loss.

I also saw people complaining about lag in previous posts. I have lag sometimes, but its never been so bad that I felt the need to complain about it. And, it has NEVER cost me a game.

One thing that I would like to point out that I would like to see a fix on is that, when I Judge and my opponents cards go back in and then when they draw, it takes time off of my clock...and, it also takes time off of my clock when my cards are going in and coming out. Its not huge, but if I run 4 Judge (and I'm sure there are other cards that works similar to this, like N), I could easily loose over 1 minute while my opponent's hand is being shuffle/drawn....plus the time it takes while I'm doing it, meaning I could be at a 2 minute disadvantage. Honestly, most of my matches don't take that long, but that is because most of my opponent's decks are good enough to compete with a speedy Stage 1 rush and I dispatch of them quickly. But, when I do find a good opponent, that time could make a huge difference.

It's a shame how many people try to scam, too. The public offers are spammed with "FREE THIS," "Do not need," "Free card u can have," "this card stinks," "i quit, u have," etc.

How about a 'Report this Offer' at the bottom of the screen between 'Accept' and 'Cancel'?

This guy had a Rocky Helmet attached to a Zekrom. Used Bolt Strike and it did 120, then another 20 popped on the screen. Assuming the rocky helmet thought that I damaged it so it did an extra 20.

Eviolite only works some of the time. Doesn't seem to be working on the active pokemon, but seems to be working for a benched pokemon that is attacked.
