Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Pokemon Boxes-Fair For The Price?

what's a premium card

I believe it's the LVX. I've also had my share of my bad luck. In my MT box I got no LVX/TSD. But in my other one I pulled 2 LVX's and a TSD. Boxes should really contain at least 1 LV X per box. That way you at least get your moneys worth.

Today at a side league i go too once in a while, this kid went in there everyday and bought 5 packs of MT. no LV.X. he bought 10 packs instead today, and no LV.X. The kid after him buys one pack, and gets a Lucario LV.X. The kid went crazy.

has that kind of expierience happened to you?

Yeah, but the good decks don't run around those LV.X's. Only Lucario, Infernape, and Palkia run ok decks with them. Torterra not at all, Darkrai a little bit, empoleon a little bit, and Dialga isn't that good at all.

A friend buy a great encounters box and he obtain 0 LVX, 1 rare candy, 2 premier ball and 43 rare cards. That is a bad box.

I open a moon hunting and a night dashing boxes and I obtain:

1 Leafeon LVX.
1 glaceon LVX.
1 Gardevoir LVX.
1 Cresselia LVX.
1 Garchomp LVX.
1 Honshcrow LV X.
4 Rare candys per box.
4 premier balls per box.
120 rare cards in total.

Is a lot of difference beetween the japanense booster box and the american ones. I start buying japanense cards because i´ts most economic and you obtain all the cards of the set buyng the 2 japanense box.

I don't know.
I'm going to should contact nintendo on that note.
And the funny thing is that even with shipping the japanese boxes are cheaper and still contain more.

Edit: This is what i wrote to the Pokemon TCG Company:

Hello, I am a pokemon TCG player. I play normally and i would love to say i love the game. i have noticed something that has happened over from EX to DP packs that has been bugging me. Shouldn't we get better cards in the more packs we buy? In the Moon Hunting/Night Dashing Japanese boxes, on average per box, you get 3 LV.X cards, 20-40 Rare Cards, and at least one holo per pack. Thats not bad for around 20 packs, and it only costs around $80.00 Lets look at it this way for your average pokemon box in america. On average, a person opening the box most likely will get one or no LV.X's. They might no get a holo in every pack, but they will get a rare in every pack. Heck, they might not even get a trainer card in every pack. The only good side to this is that there is 36 packs per box, alomost double compared to a Japanese Pokemon box. This is just my suggestion, but for the more money we are paying for a pokemon box, shouldn't we get better cards? When EX packs were out, I would rather buy an american box. Now i am starting to buy Japanese boxes because of the low chance of getting a Holo, a good trainer, or a LV.X. Even with only 20 packs per box, i would still be happier.

even in a single pack, the difference beetween japanense packs and american packs is still too big.

American pack: 9 or 10 card depending of the set.
1 or 2 rare cards depending of your luck.

Japanense pack: 11 cards (10 cards + 1 basic energy card).
1 Rare holo always.
2 Rare always.

I admit that buy american set is more fun because the rare cards are more rare to find and this help to "trading cards with other players". Japanense set are more boring because one person can obtain all the cards of the set buying a box of the set (the act of trading cards is less in japanense players).

However, the $$$ cost is most bigger if you buy american packs considering what they offer both products.

If the game is a "universal game with world championships and other international tournaments", the packs also should be universal, equal for all the players in the world.

lol me and my friends bought a nightdashing box

we got 3 pachis, a gardy lv x, glace lv x, leaf lv x, 3 pachis, and a whole bunch of other good stuff

defintitely ordering another box of that b4 regionals

I have bad luck most of the time :/

I got one Lm box and one DF box a while ago.

5 ex's overall, not good ones either, no stars.

:(

I bought 8 SW Blister Packs today, and i get moderately good things in the packs. In the last one, i prayed for the Gardevoir LV.X i have been wanting for sometime, and i open it. I Get a Honchkrow LV.X. I swear i am never buying a blister pack ever again.

i've only ever bought 1 full box, and that was DX, got like 4 exs from it, Sally, Manectric, Medicham, and a 2nd Sally, also got a jirachi and 2 magcargos outta it. lucky box FTW. i DID get 3 lvXs out of like 10 packs of SW at the prerelease too, 1 gardy, 2 honchy.

Well, POP has contacted me back, and here is what they have said to my e-mail by them:

The products released in Japan don't always match the US launch -
Trainer Kits, theme decks, booster displays, promotional cards - they're
generally different in their own ways. It's possible that in the future we
may follow the exact same pattern, but we don't have plans to match
them at this time.

Thanks for your feedback.
