^ I had a really nice Zangoose, Zapdos, Raichi GL and Staraptor RB deck that had no issues beating Luxchomp.

But could you beat DialgaChomp and Gyarados reliably?

MagneRock was prone to getting shut down before it even got off the ground, and Gengar was mostly luck and had serious issues with Gyarados IIRC.

Yeah, I had no problems with the format. The only deck I had issues playing was Leafeon. My Zangoose deck was pretty OP.

I never had problems getting it off the ground.. remember, BTS was legal. The deck could one-shot ANYTHING, which made it extremely powerful. The biggest edge I had against LuxChomp was cards like Judge, which completely messed up their hands, especially after they used 3-4 Cyrus' already. The deck that did give me some trouble was Gengar/Vileplume.

Note that I wasn't saying MagneRock wasn't a good deck, just that it was prone to situations where you just for whatever reason couldn't get that first Magnezone down and watched as the xxxChomp or Gyarados deck would rip 3-4 prizes off basics before you even got off the ground.
