  • Added "58 Legendary Treasures"
  • Updated "000 Remaining Cards" and "00 Totals" to include Legendary Treasures

Let me know if anything is wrong. I'll be creating the XY Promo list sometime this week. I'll also be organizing everything in folders (one for the main set, promos, other cards and Japanese) in the upcoming weeks too.

I'll have the XY checklist (and revised totals/remaining files) up by Tuesday. I'll also have a couple corrected checklists done then (including the Altaria).

  • Updated "000 Remaining Cards" and "00 Totals" to include XY
  • Updated "00 Totals" to have each non percentage based column be the same width
  • Updated "P5 BW Promos" to include promos through BW101
  • Added "P6 XY Promos". Included up to promos XY04
  • Corrected "58 Legendary Treasures" - 92 Altaria is uncommon
  • Corrected "14 Aquapolis" - H15 Lanturn is Electric
  • Placed all promo checklists in their own "English Promos" folder

One of these days I'll release a set without any errors, lol.

It's fixed now, I'll add it to the last update.

Advantages of checklist:
- Only grab the checklists you need, each set is it's own file
- Comprehensive totals page. Keeps a running total of all sets you have cards for
- Color coded card names
- Set summary at bottom of each checklist. Contains totals for rarity and type.
- Updates are quick and easy

Instructions:
To make it work, just download the checklists from the link above and place them all in the same folder. If you wish to use the totals file also that must be in the same folder as the rest of the checklists.

For every new set just add the new checklist to the same folder. The totals file will be updated every time a checklist is added or updated, just replace the old totals file with the new totals file and it will automatically update itself. Any updates to the individual checklists will require you to copy/paste your counts to the updated checklist then replace the old one in the folder.

Checklists were made in Excel 2007, if you have an older version some of the coloring might be messed up.

How do I work the check lists?? I've dowloaded base set and it's in Dropbox but I can't edit it so I can track my collection
 
As long as the individual checklist files are in the same folder everything should work fine. Try placing the files in a folder on your desktop. If you're using a newer version of Excel you might also have to click the 'Enable Editing' prompt when you open the file.
 
So this might seem like a silly question, but to get the totals spreadsheet to update, what do I need to do to check off each card in their own spreadsheet.

I was just putting a * in the spaces to indicate that I had it, but no totals or anything are changing. Are they supposed to autoupdate, or is that something for us to calculate on our own?

Either way, this is a great resource and your a beautiful human being for giving us this.

Put a number instead of a star for each card to represent how many of each card you have. With any number over 1 it'll recognize that you own the card and update the sheets accordingly. I'll update the first post to clarify that, thanks.

Yeah I found that out, I just 1's in all the spots. Thanks! I know your post said your working on the POP Series which I am looking forward to, but are you doing Dragon Vault as well?
 
Yea, I should do Dragon Vault. I'll include it in my next update. Not sure when that'll be exactly though.

I know this statement has been expounded upon by all who have used your spreadsheets, but I wanted to reiterate the excellent work you have produced! I have also utilized your spreadsheets to document the cards I have in certain sets, and the level of detail placed while maintaining simplicity is very much appreciated!

Would anyone be interested in having the checklists be printable? I can put something in (most likely a button) that would remove the black fill color throughout the entire sheet. It would just require everyone to redownload the sheets again.

Next major update will be when Flashfire is released. I should have the POP series checklists finished by then too. For now they're not going to be included in the totals or remaining cards files until I figure out a better way to organize them. I'll probably end up making another "Overall Totals" type file that will add together the set totals file with all the other sections of cards (promos, POP, odds and ends, etc). We'll see where that goes.

I should also have Base Set finally finished. The individual file will have all 4 variations for Base Set cards (1st ed, shadowless, 3rd (unlimited), 4th), but the totals file will only count 1st and unlimited until I figure out where to put shadowless and 4th.

Does anyone also have any suggestions on making the "Remaining Cards" file look and flow better. Right now it seems clunky to me, but I'm not sure how to fix it. I don't want to break it up into too many tabs, but having so many sets on 1 tab doesn't seem to be working either. I was thinking of having them all on 1 tab and having checkboxes to show/hide each set, but I'm looking for other suggestions also.
