Pokemon Contest Hall, Munchlax and Snorelax

The text of Pokemon Contest Hall states that:
If heads that player searches his or her deck for a Basic Pokemon and puts it onto his or her Bench.

If I have a Munchlax on the Bench, and search for a Snorlax using Pokemont Contest Hall, can I place it onto Munchlax?

No, Munchlax is not the Bench.
If you get Snorlax this way, you can only place it directly onto the bench.
