Pokemon Episode and Movie Errors?

I started watching some of the older Pokemon movies, that I haven't watched for a long time...since I was about 8. Which was years ago. lol. I noticed a lot of errors that were made in the movie. Let me list the errors and then we can discuss.

Just recently added some errors I came across in the older episodes that I watched while babysitting my brother.

Pokemon Episodes
1) In the Pokemon League, the episode where Ash meets Richie. When Officer Jenny is trying to stop Team Rocket, they say "Arcanine Fire Blast" to order a Growlithe to use that attack.

Pokemon: The First Movie
1) That guy's "Pidgeotto" is really, a Pidgeot.
2) Pikachu's thunderbolt knocks out 3 pokemon at once, even Golem. Pikachu's electric attacks didn't work against Brock's rock Pokemon in the first few episodes, yet they work against other people's rock Pokemon in the movie. That's just an error in the movie.
3) Ash says this, and I quote this directly from the movie: "I didn't know Vikings existed anymore. They must come from Minnesota!" Does Minnesota even exist in the world of Pokemon?
4) Mewtwo talks, a trainer points it out and asks, "how is it talking?" and Brock replies "It's Psychic." Why is Mewtwo the only Pokemon other then Meowth, Lugia (Pokemon 2000) and Slowking (Also in Pokemon 2000) that can talk?
5) Team Rock calls Scyther Alakazam in the cloning area of Mewtwo's island.
6) Meowth calls Sandslash "Sandshrew".
Pokemon 2000
1) Poliwhirl jumps out of the water and says "Poliwrath!"
2) Lugia talks as well as Mewtwo in the first movie. Though, no other Pokemon can. (Other than the ones that've learned Human speech.
Pokemon 3 The Movie
1) Entei can talk. Yet, no other Trio legendary can talk.
Destiny Deoxys
1) In the beginning of the movie, the Beedrill all have Butterfree heads.

I haven't watched the other movies more than once so I haven't discovered (or remember) any errors anyway. Although, I must say, the ending of Pokemon Heroes completely threw me off and lost me. I never understood the ending of the movie.

1. 4Kids' fault.
2. The video games do not apply to the anime all the time. Yes, they do work against Onix.
3. It's an "outside joke" for the real world. You know, the Vikings, from Minnesota... Probably to appeal to the adults in the audience or something.

In the beginning scene of Pokemon Destiny Deoxys when they show all of the pokemon. The Beedrill all have butterfree heads.

Screw up? Or easter egg?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Latios sacrificed itself by becoming pur energy and stopping the tital wave caused by the Defense Mechanism of Altamore. Just like his father Latios sacrificed himself so the 3 lati's can be seen flying at the end.

THE end of Heroes is mysterious but here is my theory.
Since the Pokemon are shown right after Latias Kisses Ash, they represent Latios the Dad/Son and the original mother (even though they are dead =/).

How... can any thread mention mistakes of Mewtwo Strikes Back and not mention the fact that Scyther is called Alakazam?

I'll be generous and say that's 4Kids' way of making TR look like idiots.

No plz.
Wikipedia (really) ftw.
4kids 4 teh phail.
Latis that are seen at the end have no relation at all to the AltoMare Latis.
There are multiple "factions" of Latis as dubbed over by 4kids that live all aroung the world, and visit AltoMare because of the soul dew.

No, all of the Latios and Latias are dead. Only 2 are left (or 3, if you can't the dad, which may or may not have been real).

The english version cut the whole story of the town out. I know because my league leader let me borrow the Japanese version. It cleared up everything. At first when I saw the part where Latios died I actually cried just like the time when I saw the episode where Pikachu finds the group of wild Pikachus and almost left Ash.

Oh and the Latis you see at the end were real.

the latis at the end were NOT 'real'; they were the spiritual guardians of the city, who latios joined by his self-sacrifice.

'mom

@ King of Magikarps: Yes, I know. There used to be many Latios and Latias, and one day two were injured or something. An old couple took care of them, and then when the city came under attack from the evil trainer with the Kabutops and Aerodactyl, the Lati@s revealed themselves and stopped them.

@ SD_Pokemom: That can't be known for sure. The Japanese like to not have an answer for when Pokemon apparently die. Latias did not die, but was with them, as well.

Just thought of this. How come mewtwo can telekinetically talk to humans when mew couldn't and mewtwo is cloned from mew's DNA?

also in the first movie when team rocket were in mewtwos chamber adn were guessing pokemon when scyther appeared they said alakzam

Papi/Manny: It was explained in the beginning that they modified Mew's DNA to make Mewtwo. That might be where the telekinesis comes from.

lilgroudon: Covered many times, refer to post 7 above.
