Wait who cares anyway, unless they reprint ATMR, then u could just RC, and if they dont reprint RC then no ones gonna b playin stage2 decks
What's wrong with stage 2s now?

I will enjoy the game without rare candies. Too many games were lost because the opponent got a T1 or T2 pokemon and just destroyed the opponent.

REPRINT RARE CANDY after the rotation. i love rare candy, that card is the best

Some of those are so cool! Cleffas back - a little worse tho, but will make a good replacement for dunsparce. I also love eevees power for some first turn evos! Or maybe a haymaker like Hitmon deck?

Thanks!

is it just me thats noticed the most unstoppable combo??

the new slowking and primeape from Fire Red???

that 120 per turn, with 4 slowking on the bench, then 80 with the slowking wen all ur tools have gone.

mind u, i be they will make the slowking so it has to be active to get a tool out. if not- start building it ppl.

just a thought! ne other ideas???

(btw zorajolteon, u going reading state saturday?)

Thatz totally kewl!!!
But I'm sticking to my lovely deck, thank you. (see siggie for the decklist)

*points to sig*
I'm still trying to find a Hitmontop scan. That card is going to pwn. And I'm hoping to go to Reading. Lack of Funds = Very poor deck, but the invite system's slightly excessive, so hopefully I'll get a place at nationals anyway.

The deck is a lot for stable with a combo of Dark Slowking and Slowking since it is much faster and still dishes out some one hit knock outs or delayed ones once the other side strikes back.

Problem with decks like those are that they are easily OHKOed by many decks, and yes they comeback fast but they both still have their problems. Primeape will probably benefit more from the new Slowking actually, Primeape needs more resources than Dark Slowking but it has the potential to OHKO anything. Dark Slowking does really well but lacks the ability to OHKO things above 100HP, which gives the opponent more time to build up or Briney's. Both decks can suffer from massive bad draws, meaning the deck is filled so much with tools that it's all you draw sometimes. I personally don't think it will ever be a Tier 1 deck, the only exception is if Rare Candy isn't reprinted, or if some of the new tools prove more useful than they sound. I play a Dark Slowking deck so that's why I can say all of this. =p Just Slowking, played it way before any of that voodoo crap came out, no offense to Voodoo players though. (Sorry Dark Umbreon *ducks* I know you like those decks, I think they're good but I just prefer Dark Slowking)

If I understand these new pokemon tools correctly, they're too good. You can attach power root to cleffa and it will have 70 hp. Buffer gem removes your pokemon's weakness as long as it is attached to the pokemon. Now we just need more ways to get rid of them in order to attach other tools to a pokemon.

Yeah, like every deck is going to play ATM: Ice or Xatu or Espeon EX. Ice might even be rotated out. And they wouldn't get Pwn'd anyways. If your playing against a deck that starts out with eevee, just don't play any tools. No PWNage anywhere.

If you don't play tools out of fear of a little Eevee, then that's a significant amount of your deck wasted. Everyone shall henceforth tech a single Eevee into thier decks. I'm a genius! I suppose you could also use something like, erm, *browses through Unown* Great, we get an ATM Steel Unown, a mini-rock, but no Ice. Stantler shows slight promise, and I'll need confirmation of where Houndoom has to be placed before I can properly rate it. I can't beleive a body that useful works on the bench.

Hi Peachyoto,

I indeed love fast evil knievel decks and use Dark Slowking too. I do not use Voodoo at the moment. Used to run Dark Slowking decks since the release of Rocket Rocket returns. The deck is rather similar to Insanities back in the Neo environment. However, at the moment I do run one teched assistance line which happens to be two Banette due to the prevalence of special energies over here. Once Slowking is out he will replace Banette for sure. Some of the new tools assist Slowking decks a lot. Cursed Powder seems to be one of them. The one hit knock out issue holds for most stage two lines too here so this is not that much of an issue to me.

I now seriously doubt they'll rotate HL, either that or it's almost a given that either ATM Rock WILL be reprinted, OR an Extended format will be made official.

Notice the number of "comes-into-play" evolution powers in the set? Espeon, Umbreon, Blissey, Typhlosion... They're just screaming "I dare you to rock me!" - especially Umbreon and Blissey.

And ATM Ice will be teched if the Tools become popular enough. Erase the tools (and possibly also stadium!) AND get a gauranteed Agility effect? I'm SO there.

HL offers nothing but steven's advice for a starter set. FRLG has Celio, Pidgeot, Bill's Maintenance, Prof. Oak's Research, and the starters. It is a base set. Now, if they rotate to it, that's another question. But I would put my money on FRLG.

Who cares if it's a "starter set"?

It's still a good rotation point, regardless.

And did you forget the stadiums?

Yeah I've been playing Dark Slowking for a long time now, and I definately see the great improvement it will get once Cursed Powder comes out, definately will be an even better contender. (although space seems to be already limited, so many great tools =p) Just want your opinion on something since you're a fellow Dark Slowking player =] but do you think the new Slowking will actually prove useful in the deck? I mean the power is good and the attack is nice, but it has some downfalls that I am not sure are worth it. First of all it needs a Slowpoke, so that limits the Dark Slowking swarm a bit, unless you use retriever for it but by then the power is still useful but not as great. Second, a great thing about Dark Slowking is that it gets out fast because of Rocket's Poke-ball. (I play 2 celio's and 3 rocket's poke-ball in mine I think, lol) We'd need to up the celio's more to get Slowking out quicker, but would that have an effect on the deck? I really don't know right now that's why I ask. Lastly, is this Slowking really that great of a backup? It has a maximum damage potential of 80, still weak to grass, and is still psychic. I think I'd prefer a different Pokemon as back-up just in case of weakness/resistance. I dunno, I'm like spacing out right now so if this post doesn't make sense, sorry.
