I just doublechecked this with a with a fellow WizO: the ONLY way one can 'redeem' Magic Online cards for paper M:tG cards is to collect the entire set of an expansion...just getting a single desirable card in virtual form does NOT mean one can redeem it immediately for a paper one.

Well at least it can be done, but that is costly me thinks. Wow. There is a good reason why there isn't a Pokemon Online, I don't think something like this can be done and make a profit off of it.

I actually wrote an application called PokémOnline with Visual Basic way back in 2000, but it wasn't very good. I tried to make it better than Apprentice by enforcing game rules, but real life butted in and I never finished it. Some people might remember it (and how crappy it was). :)

Depends if it would work for macs. ;)

Har har har.

I agree though, I have a Mac and it totally sucks that Apprentice is only available for Windows computers. Everybody is always asking me to play on Appr and I always reply, "I have a Mac." How hard is it to make it compatible? =/

Very funny, Ross. =P

Macs are AWFUL, they're oversymplified, cruddy firmware and very uncompatible. I know these things ;/;/

Besides, for just playtesting etc, apprentice >>>>>>> anything.

A good game of appr >>>> anything you hafta buy online any day.

I'll take my OS X at home over my Windoz at work any day.
How about an updated GBA pokemon-tcg??? I'm so sick of the latest YGO permutation! Blech!
