Due to the success os XD024, research has been done to discover if other pokemonn can become just like it, and we discovered as long as we control the number of proteins in the strain, we could turn any pokemon into a Berserker, though not to the extent that Gyarados is, or so we thought.
Our leader was ecstatic once he heard any pokemon could become both a Shadow, and Berserker, and make sure the proper funds were allocated to the proper areas, we undertook more research.
Day 1
Using a oceanic contest as a pretext to obtain pokemon for research we acquired several, and researched proved that now no pokemon was useless we kept all 128 of them.
Day30
After Selective breeding we successfully gained a whole batch of young pokemon with exeptional stats to use, and so having no use for the parents, we released them instead of killing them in the normal manner.
Day100
Success once again, we have created the 1st of a long line of intensively powerful pokemon designed solely for destruction.

Due to extensive research, scientists have been successful in a creating a machine that duplicates the DNA material of pokemon samples that have been preserved in fossil material.
Anorith was one such pokemon, my staff has been instructed to spearhead this endeavor.
Day 1
The material was siphoned off from amber discrovered buried in a peat bog, in northern Scotland, and the experiments began.
Day 30
The fossil pokemon resisted the effects of the Berserk gene, and seemed to just laof around in thier containment day in, and day out. Maybe this plan was doomed to fail..
Day 75
The fossil pokemon are showing signs of enhanced intelligece, and increased strength a possible side affect of the Beserk Gene, but according to our calculations the possbility of an even more powerful version of the Shadow Berserker may be in the making.This is Ein signing off

<\Due to the numerous reports of the failure of the first batch of shadow pokemon, numerous experiments were performed to determine how certain pokmon could be take advantae of having thier hearts closed off artificialy.
Day 324
Gyarados, or XD024 was a product of such research,3 years of Gene-splicing procured a rare strand of the aptly name Berserk Gene, which is found in the genetic material of only a few Pokemon, which causes them to be prone to violent outbursts, such pokemon inclue Primeape, and Gyarados. Once the strand was obtained.
Day 538
New experiments took place, which including delving into its genetic code to figure out how it works, and so it was that our scientists at the lab in Cinnibar Island managed to increase the number of protein strands in the rare gene to create a totally different strand of it which operates on a far more genetic level./>
Day 570
The strain was incubated, and stage 2 began. Using technology acquired from Team Rockets' Giovanni, we managed to further the process, by forcing different Pokemon to evolve depending on their ratings at birth the rest were propely disposed of.
Day647
By forcing certain Magikarps to evolve into Red Gyarados' that naturally had the Berserk Gene, and breedin it was possible to get an insanely powerful Magikarp that attacked at te slightest provocation, so using this to our advantage we took a blood sample, and discovered that the Berserk strain infuused with its naturally occuring Berserk Gene to produce a Berserker pokemon.
After this we again took a blood sample after forcing it to evolve for further studying, we thought we had succeeded...
Day 789
The Berserker Gyarados died during the Shadow pokemon process, so research has been set back to determine different ways to keep the Gyarados' alive.
Day 800
10 More Gyarados have died, so we abandoned the idea.
Day1000
Secret research discovered that the Berserk strain releases vast amounts of adrenaline into the pokemon' system thus the reason the shadow pokemon process killed them with this newfound discovery we undertook the Gyarados XD Project with renewed fervor.
Day1120
Success! We have successfully created the most powerful Gyarados in history, resistant to purifying by normal means, and infused with the Berserk strain, although wild, and uncontrolalbe, it will obey an exceptionally powerful trainer, now we have decided to undertake the Hyper Dimension/XD Shadow Pokemon Project.
