Pokemon Rumble

The King Of Magikarps

I just got this game today though the game came out yesterday. I have only played for about 2 hours, but the game remains the same for the most part thru-out.

For those who haven't heard Pokemon Rumble is unlike most Pokemon games, in that you don't go around traveling to various cities battling trainers and gym leaders. In this game the Pokemon are all toys. Since they are toys they do not and can not evolve. The graphics are that of Pokemon Ranch. The game allows you to use either the Wii-mote, Classic Controller, or GCN Controller. The game also allows up to 4 players to play at the same time. Sorry for not going into alot of detail but Nintendo has started offering demos for Wii-Ware.

I love the game and the controls are so easy to use. Game play is very fun. What do you guys think?

Yeah, I got the Japanese version a few days ago. I put in the passwords and got some cool stuff. I got a Vaporeon that does Surf.

Pokemon Rumble reminds me heavily of Beyblade.... its a fun game, but its hard to justify a 1500-Wii Point purchase.... 1000 would have been a more fair price, considering there isnt much else to do outside of the main story... Rattata as a starter is funny...

I agree, i am not going to pay 1500 points for a game that has no connectivity to the main games. People bought My Pokemon Ranch for the soul reason for main game storage...and a free mew.

What were the passwords? Maybe they work on the US verison.

They don't, there was already a set of english ones released (Including Mew).

I got it today, in my wiis last weeks because I had 1700 spare points.

it's mindless, that's for sure, and basically after ranking up (C->B->A->S) you can just release all your Pokemon except ones obtained through passwords because they get auto power boosts.

There is advanced mode which is where is find the DP pokemon.

That's not the problem, I'm on like Another Rank A or something, it's that everything becomes useless after the grade it's obtained in.

I played the demo version of it and it seemed to be very repetive after while because your constantly mashing the number 2 button to use your attacks. The missions are exactly the same and it doesn't have wifi I heard. Do they have all 493 Pokemon in that game?

Some of the Pokemon I want to use stopped getting stronger like my Vaporeon and Pidgeot. I have to run the the game with Skymin and Leafeon.

Only Kanto and Sinnoh stuff.

EX rank is odd so far lol.

I've mostly been sweeping with Drain Punch/Dark Pulse Mew basically only dies from OHKOs.

I finally bought the game. I am in B rank and I am using Venomoth 178 Power w/ Bug Guard Trait. 1= Giga Drain, 2= Poison Powder. Has anyone received the PROMO Charizard yet or any other PROMO-code Pokemon?

Here are the codes for the US version:

8672-1076 Turtwig
1589-3955 Venusaur

I don't think Mods like for us to post links to gamefaqs for some reason. That is why I simply copied the codes from gamefaqs so that users can stay on this site. I guess I'll keep the first post updated with the code Pokemon.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

where do i buy this game?

Off of the Wii Shop Channel. It is under Wii-Ware.
