Well, I lucked out on the Mega Alakazam competition.
I had a nice, safe score on my 3DS, but my score on Mobile was only a few thousand over the cut off for the top payout.
I tried getting it higher, but didn't.
I fully expected to get pushed out at the end of the competition, but luckily the score help up and I finished ranked about 8600, within the 10,000 needed.
Now the payout for the Beedrill competition has gotten much better.
I don't think I'll make the new, small top cut, but I should be able to make what used to be the old top cut which still has a nice payout.
