Pokemon tool

Hi all, so a quick question that I couldn't seem to find a answer to when I looked online. If I've got a pokemon tool attached to a pokemon then the next turn I get another pokemon tool that I want to attach. Can I just discard the attached pokemon tool to allow me to attach the new pokemon tool?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks, Matt

Unfortunately, the tool stays unless a card says otherwise. Tool Scrapper and Masquerain are some options if you are interesting in changing tools.

No, a tool is 'attached', like energy, so it is stuck there unless an explicit game-action removes it. For tools, some possible ways to move/remove them include:
1. You or your opponent playing a Tool Scrapper and choosing that tool for removal.
2. Your opponent playing a Startling Megaphone
3. An attack that specified a tool is discarded, removed, etc.
4. An ability that moves/removes them in some way. (Like Masquerain PLB-2 )
I may be missing something, but the main point is that tools are 'sticky' and you may not simply get rid of them without some help from the game.

(I was scooped! Hehe.)

With the release of Furious Fists, you can also use Tool Retriever to choose up to 2 Pokémon Tool cards attached to your Pokémon and put them into your hand.
