Although I can't answer the rest of your questions, yoshi1001, I sure as sugar know the answer to your last question:

It's because they were obscure unnoticed bubblegum artists who wanted one of their songs stuck onto a soundtrack for a movie based on a world-rocking super-popular trend so that they could get noticed and hopefully create a teenybopper fanbase from the trend's fans, even though the song (of which they got a few minutes of in the credits of said movie) had nothing to do with the movie's plot.

Actually, there is a connection-M2M is a horrible pun on two of the movie's characters names.

Mewtwo Mew

Is the first answer the same length so they can have the credits be the same length as the original Japanese version?

Well, they're both the credits music for the respective versions of the movie, so, yeah.

Here's a good one for you. What gender is Mr. Brimy's Wingull.

HINT: He say's the gender after you beat the team A/M member in the cave.

Peeko is female.

Here's my question, but this one has spoilers for the west coast:

Suppose a salesman is selling Magikarp for $1 apiece. If Ken Jennings bought a Magikarp with each dollar he's won in 30 days on Jeopardy, how many Magikarp would he have to buy before he goes broke?

I'm thinking its a trick question. So my answer has to be 0. I don't watch Jeopardy either. :p

No, my question is not a trick question. You do have to pay attention to Jeopardy to get my question.

I will give one hint, though: it's either a six or seven digit number.

He just won yesterday with a little over a million. I happened to have recorded it: $1,004,960; so I'll say 1,004,960 Magikarp.

I think the general consensus is that we give up. And if it isn't, it should be; Way too tough a question. If/when you post the answer, could you give cites of where they appear?

Well, here's a new question to chew on:

What characters from the show have had "twin" (not necc. exactly identical) counterparts? Duplica doesn't count towards anyone, since she just dresses up like them .I can think of 2 pairs of duplicates. Note who looks like whom.
