thanks to those that linked the image for me got distracted after i uploaded them.

anyway yes it looks nice, and this is the first one i've gotten as i only became a professor this year.

I live in washington and the postmark was yesterday so I imagine the rest should be arriving in the next couple days
 
Well, since Nintendo owns both PUI and the Shaymin character, I am sure that PUI gained proper permission to use the image of the character before hand.

No, it is not player rewards.

Every year, PUI sends out a Christmas - or Holiday for the PC folks - card to their Professors.

No one but Professors get these, that I know of.

And every year, it is a reason for non Professors to complain about 'all' the things Professors get.

I am pretty sure I can say this for all Professors, this is the one 'free' thing were get a year, we have to earn the rest.

Eevee, I'm sorry if my post sounded whiny to you. I just feel like it isn't entirely fair that Professors get these without running leagues, tournaments, judging, or anything. There are lots of people out there who deserve this stuff, and that's fine.

While you don't get the rest "free", you get it a lot closer to free. You can judge 8 tournaments and get a lab coat. I can judge 8 tournaments and pay 30 dollars for one. Maybe I'm just complaining and don't have any idea what I'm talking about, but that doesn't sound fair to me.

Just to LYK, the 8 tourneys = Free labcoat has not been around for a few yrs now. If you want a labcoat as a Prof., you have to order one (or be on staff at Worlds!)

Likewise, if you dont "do" anything to help the game grow ie judge, LL, TO, etc, POP will take away your prof. status.

I'm always amazed by the signatures inside. Trying to find Dave Schwimmer or Mike Liesik's signature is like one of those old Where's Waldo puzzles.

It seems to me that the number of signatures has grown significantly over the years. Are there people in the NY Office signing it now as well? I remember the early ones (2005 or so) were signed by just Pete, Mike, Dave, Susan, and maybe one or two others. Is this consistant with other's memory?
