dose anyone know the reason why not to release abra nad kadabra?
and why they keep releasing EXs like flygon and salamance that has been released already 3 times??

they should release example jumpluff
ex, bellossom ex, machamo ex, nidos ex etc. people will love to see those

Blissey was printed only 3 times since its first appearence in Neo Revelations. (N3, AQ, UF)

Luckily, I think we'll see it soon thanks to Happiny.

I think it has something to do with that crazy medium who claimed that these Pokemon were named after him.

Agreed - taken from Wikipedia;

In November 2000, Geller unsuccessfully sued Nintendo in U.S. federal court, claiming use of his likeness for a Pokémon character, "Yungerer" (also transliterated "Ungeller"), translated into English as "Kadabra".

Here's an idea, add an episode to the Pokemon shows that would change the names for Abra and Kadabra, and make up a reason for it. But then Kazam wouldn't work...

here it is!

Hoh-Abra
Cuspo-Kadabra
Cuzs-Alakazam

Heh, Hocus Pocus...

well then youd have a pokemon named hoh, and thats not better

well anyway, kazam is makin his bag debut in the D/P mystery of the lakes  YAY
seems okay, has the ability to stop opponent's pokepowers, at the cost of 2 cards from your hand
could see some play

their original English names was
Hocus
Pocus
Alakazam

but they changed it to Abra, Kadabra in the end and kept Alakazam.

I do believe that the lack of Abra/Kadabra was due to the lawsuit against Kadabra.
Alakazam could be printed as a * without the need for Kadabra, and was, partly because of the demand for one.
Kadabra was the one that the lawsuit involved, and it wouldn't really make much sense to print an Abra without a Kadabra and Alakazam.

However, as WPM said, and it has been posted on the board before, I know I've seen it...there will be a full Alakazam line in Mystery of the Lakes.
And no, chriscobi, he did not mean every Pokemon will be in Mystery of the Lakes. He meant what Cristian said; every Pokemon will have had at least one card post-RS; Abra and Kadabra were the only ones left, and now they're being made.
Though, I must say, they do remain the only Pokemon to never appear in an "EX" set.

RS was a loooooooooong time ago. Over 16 sets, and no Abra/Kadabra? Wow.

Let's narrow it down a little bit. Say, since RG, which just feels like a good starting point. What Pokemon have not been printed since RG? I'm not asking cuz I know the answer. More cuz 11 sets is far less than 16, and much more reasonable of a period of time to get all 386 Pokemon into sets, given that sets generally have around 80 Pokemon, including Pokemon-ex (Unown miniset doesn't count).

we havent had a playable furret since TRR...
and we have had only two playable furrets in history...
please, a furret ex is all i ask for...
JUST ONE FURRET EX!!!

I'm slightly annoyed at the fact that since Trr, there have been no Jumpluffs. Actually, I kinda like the idea of Jumpluff Ex...
Anyway, at least Abra and Kadabra will be printed soon.

The number of sets that it has been is not the point.
The point is that RS was the first set of the EX block. The point is that Abra and Kadabra are the only Pokemon that were not printed in an EX: Set.
