PokeRadar shinies! Best method ever!

I'm sure you will get it eventually, everyone does, it took me a good 4 weeks of practicing before I managed to get my first shiny. Once you get it you will be blaming me for making shiny Pokemon a priority over next season. :tongue: Best of luck!

OMG!! I was looking for a shiny Pachirisu and when I gave up I decided to battle the random Drifloon. The Drifloon was SHINY!!! Looks like I'm going to give up on the pokeradar more often (sarcasm).

Seriously, the radar does become frustraiting after a while. It looks like some of us have horrible luck with the darn thing despite me obtaining 5 new shinies (including my newly cuaght shiny Drifloon). :biggrin:

I know this is going to sound very dumb, but I can't get the Pokerader to work? Whenever I select it and try it in some grass (like around the Windworks area for Elekid?), all I get is the stupid "no you can't use it" message....
 
Today I have caught 4 shiny Geodudes and killed one by accident, since it appeared in a reguar patch, but I wasn't paying attention and with the volume off, when I looked down Isaw the HP bar going down and the yellow Geodude =(.

Just this second I caught a shiny Machop afterr essetting the Radar once after I got to 40, I want atleast 2 more.

1x Pachirisu (Modest!)
1x Magnemite
1x Skarmory (Impish!)

Haven't really had any luck with non-Magnet Pullers or non-Statickers yet.

I haven't used Static to get my Pichu. All I did was go to a rustling grass, and tried to chain the first thing I saw. I am trying to go for Mareep, Pidgey, and Nidoran F
 
Looks like everyone except Mike has ashiny Pachirisu hehe poor him. I wonder how many shiny Pachirisus it will take to trade him for a Mysterious Treasures booster box =P.

BTW Ralts has fially appeared! After ressetting for 2 hours on a 40 chain, I finally saw the shiny patch, I had my Adamant synchronizer up front but the Ralts was female oh well, I still have the chain, just taking a break, I want at least 4 shiny Ralts from it.
 
Hey Mike if you really want a Pachirusu I have one (used the radar but ended up just capturing it without the shiny bush) let me know if you want it.

Actually, I haven't had the time to try in a while. I played through Sapphire last week (silly kids deleted my game) so that I could get Rayquaza. I used only my starter (Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swampert) for the entire game and it took a little less than 18 hours to beat the game. Now I'm sitting in front of Ray with a Masterball, resetting until I get a shiny one.

I'll probably give Pachi another shot on the plane ride to/from San Diego Comic Con next week.
