PokeThoughts By Dave II: Yamato, A Goodwill Ambassador

Oh? He's the one to beat next year, and everyone knows it? Well I certainly don't know it. It seems as if you are the only one that holds that opinion. But if you insist that "everyone" knows Yamato is the one to beat, then I'm sure you wouldn't mind naming 50 people who share your sentiments? After all, 50 people is far fewer than "everyone". Oh? You can't name 50 people? That's too bad. Don't confuse opinion with fact, kind sir.
Knowing something and ADMITTING you know something are two different beasts to some people.

Ask yourself this question. You have 1 week til Worlds 2006. You're investigating the metagame in hopes of picking the best deck. You can only investigate what one person is playing. Who would that person be?

To be "considered" the best, you've got to exhibit your skills to the masses. Yamato did that at the marathon (both in his playing skills AND his attitude towards the game). I was one of many who witnessed that. Sorry if you didn't. But then again, some people can only believe things that they witness themselves, having no ability to rely on faith from the words of actual witnesses.

Slugma Dragons

[1] Ram (10)

[1R] Luring Flame - Switch 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon with 1 of the Defending Pokemon. Your opponent chooses the Defending Pokemon to switch. The new Defending Pokemon is now Burned.

The key is the stadium.

Meteor Falls

Each player's Active Evolved Pokemon (excluding Pokemon-ex) can use any attack from its Basic Pokemon or its State 1 Evolution card. (You still have to pay for that attack's Energy cost.)
