Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere, I couldn't find it.

I believe this is the first official announcement from Pokemon USA. Until now, everything has been speculation.

Pretty cool, eh? Trying to guess which cards will be released in a "non-Japanese" set is going to make the game very interesting this next spring.

Now we can probably assume that Diamond & Pearl will follow sometime in May 2007.

I've got my fingers crossed for Retrievers and Admins. :thumb:

2 things come to mind:
Early release of DP stadiums or that the emphesis on stadiums in general can lead me to believe that desert ruins and magnetic storm might actually make comebacks... o_O
Remember, something old can be new again. lol

Notice how unlike ALL THE OTHER press releases, the word "new" is not inbetween "100" and "cards".

I think your reading too much into that. but that is my thought on that. I think it is gonna be a dual release set. There Have been consistantly skipping and have had dual releases in at least 1 release per tourney season

FEB 05 - Team Rocket Returns - This Was Released Here Within 1 Month of Japan's Release
DEC 05 - Delta Species Was Released Instead of Legend Maker
??? 06 - I think the same is gonna happen.

Drew

I'm guessing a Gengar line for "Mind Games" theme deck. Dark Blast theme deck seems to harken to TR and TRR type cards. Could be a way to get retrievers and Admins back. I'd LOVE to see Admin's back, since I always loved decks that manipulate oppo's hands.

lol

1. Desert Ruins
2. Magnetic Storm
3. Ancient Tomb
4. Island Cave

Nah, they even say in the PR "four new stadiums".

stadium #1:
The person that plays this stadium wins.

stadium #2:
The person that plays this stadium's opponent loses.

stadium #3:
It's a tie.

stadium #4:
Both players are disqualified.

Those are your game changing stadiums right there.

Legendaries set for the exs sets?
Mind Game deck = SLOWKING!!!!!!!
We are so dead.

If they print a new Mindgames slowking, it'll have the fixed "only when active" text... and probably be made ex. LOL
