I just want this to be clarified, if I use Power Spray on a card like Bronzong G will the Bronzong G take 2 damage counters. I think no as that's what people have told me, but I'm not totally sure.

Power Spray stops the entire affect of a Poke-POWER; the Power counts as being used, but does NOTHING. So for Galactic Switch, the energy is not moved and the damage not placed.
Note, there are some effects that are not part of the Power, but are activated when the Power is used, for example, those that state, IF YOU DO, YOUR TURN ENDS. Power Spraying a Power with that condition attached to its use will still end your turn:
