Anyone can find apple pie but to find the best, you only need to look in one place. I will hopefully be posting an update tomorrow night with some going forward news. As far as my wife trading me in, well thats not likely. I am like ugly luggage....do the job, but embrassing to take in public. Most of all no one else wants to take me home.:biggrin:

I would like again say thank you to all of you for your kind words and best wishes. I thought I owed everyone an update on how things are going. As of today, my doctors have cleared me for surgery. For some reason after a battery of test on my heart, they found nothing wrong with it,( I thought they would come back and tell me I dont have one.):lol: Anyway, it sounds like I will probably be having my back surgery sometime next week, but nothing is confirmed yet. I will try to give another update as things progress.

Ok, so here is the update. I am scheduled to arrive at the hospital at 7:30 am tomorrow. I assume surgery will begin around 2 hours after that. It should take about 2 hours for them to finish, at least these are the approximate numbers they gave me over the phone. I am hoping to have my computer up and running in the hospital, so if that works, I will let you all know how things go.

Once again, thanks to all of my Pokefriends that have expressed their best wishes to me here, via phone, and by email. It really makes me feel good that so many are concerned about my well being, some of whom I have never met. My wife has also asked me to send her gratitude to all of you. Without her, and without all of you, I would definiately have a lot tougher road of recovery ahead of me.

Troy's been in surgery for an 1/2 hour now. Should be done at 11:30. He's being a difficult patient. Tried hiding the cell phone. Had to grab it before he went in.:nonono: Will keep you posted.

FYI update

Just left the hospital. Troy is feeling pretty rough. The Meds, tubes, TV and now a roomate.UGH! (His comment) The Doc said the disks were very large and good thing he did this when they did or they would have had to fuse his back. Hope to have him home tommorow to start his medding. This girl can relax then. Thanks for all the well wishes.
