There will be a TCG League Challenge played at the same location on the same day. Registration for the League Challenge is 9:00 am - start time 9:30 am. Due to time constraints with the venue, there will be no lunch break. You may bring your own food, or purchase the Pokémon Meal Deal - 2 slices pizza, drink and chips/cookie for $5.
Premier Challenges will be Standard Format - which is Pokémon X or Pokémon Y; 4-6 Pokémon in your Battle Box, each Pokémon may have one item; no duplicate items; Kalos native Pokémon only. (complete rules round here: Rules & Resources - click on VG Rules & Formats.
There will be 15 minute rounds - Swiss pairings (meaning that all players play all rounds) with the number of rounds determined by the number of players in each division. Once standing are posted, the top players will play single-elimination top cuts; best 2 of 3.
8 Players - Top 2
9-16 Players - Top 4
17-226 Players - Top 8
Championship Point Distribution:
1st: 15 CP
2nd: 12 CP
3rd-4th: 10 CP
5th-8th - 8 CP (kicker 16)
9th-12th - 4 CP (kicker 32)
13th-16th - 2 CP (kicker 32)
17th-32nd - 1 CP (kicker 64)
What is a kicker? It means that in order to be awarded those championship points, the division must reach a minimum number. So if you place 6th, there must be a minimum of 16 people in y our division in order to receive those CP's.
