VIDEO GAME Premier Challenge Schedule for Oregon

FINALLY, the long awaited organized play program for video game players on a local level is getting started. The first events in this series are Premier Challenges and Oregon will be hosting SIX of them. The events will run through late June and although there are still two events that have not been confirmed I wanted to get the dates out for what we have confirmed so you can get them on your calendar.
The four events we have scheduled in Oregon are listed below. We will add the other two as soon as we get them locked in.

REGISTRATION FEE: $5.00
REQUIREMENTS: A Nintendo 2DS/3DS handheld console and a copy of Pokémon X or Pokémon Y.
RULES: Standard Format (Pokémon X or Pokémon Y), double battle, four (4) to six (6) different Pokémon need to be placed in the Battle Box; each Pokémon may hold one item but two Pokémon cannot hold the same item; Kalos native Pokémon from the Mountain, Central, and Costal Pokedexes except for Mewtwo, Xerneas, Ylveltal, Zygarde; level 50 Flat Battles with Normal Rules.
SWISS ROUNDS: The tournament will be single game Swiss rounds with a 15 minute time limit (all players play in every round).
TOP CUT: After the Swiss rounds we will have a single elimination top cut for each age division. Top cut rounds are best two out of three games. Top cut size is determined by the number of players: 8 players - Top 2; 9 to 16 players - Top 4; 17 or more players - Top 8.
PRIZES: We will have gift cards for the winners and depending on attendance we will be adding additional prizes. At the very least 1st place in each age division will win a $10 gift card, but if attendance is good that will go up and prizes will be added for lower place finishers. Everyone also has a chance to win some give away drawings between rounds for Pokémon themed items.
CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS: These events offer Championship Points (CP) to the top finishers depending on attendance: 1st - 15 CP; 2nd - 12 CP; 3rd & 4th - 10 CP; 5th thru 8th - 8 CP (if there are 16 players); 9th thru 12th - 4 CP (if there are 32 players); 13th thru 16th - 2 CP (if there are 32 players).
