Presidential Candidates

And my point is that 93 doesn't seem to be saying that at all.

"no, but i find the demo. more appealing."

I see your confusion now. "Appealing" and "interesting" are actually interchangeable for the purpose of that post, because I am showing simultaneously why the Democrats aren't interesting to _me_ for anything more than their bickering, yet also putting into question why 93 finds them more "appealing."

RE drmario: :thumb: But yeah, the neoconservatives, as well as the Clinton dynasty, rely so much on bullying and intimidation that it goes beyond reason.

RE Dom: no.

No kidding....

Im ready to shoot myself, just cuz I hear the words "Clinton Dynasty"....

WHEN_WILL_THE_PAIN_OF_HEARING_"CLINTON"_END_!_!_!_!

Well, it could be worse, Jeb Bush could be running, too. Then you can complain about the "Bush Dynasty" too.

I deliberately chose not to use the words "Bush Dynasty" because George H.W. Bush, unlike George W., had to rely far less on his cabinet. In other words, H.W. was his own man, while W. Bush was, in some ways at least, other people's man. Ironically, it wasn't until _after_ all of the greater conflicts of his presidency did he branch out and finally stop "caring about the poll numbers."

Re Clinton case: everyone cites his management of the national deficit as a big reason why he was successful; however, he negatively solved the problem by increased taxes!

From a strictly economic standpoint, the "only" good candidate at the moment is Ron Paul. Unlike Clinton or W. Bush, he understands that you solve the problem by cutting _spending_, and by not taxing people of their hard-earned dollars.

bill was one of the best presidents ever.

GO HILARY!

Funny how one of the best presidents ever almost got IMPEACHED.:eek::mad: oops, did i just think that or type it...

And you think that his WIFE will be any better? :nonono:

I agree with FS on this one. lol

OK, I'm officially uninterested right now. The Dems have devolved into character assassinations, and the GOP has no frontrunners. I like Obama and McCain, who I thought should've gotten the GOP nomination 4 years ago...

I believe Ron Paul would be great for the economy since he is very offensive against inflation. But based on the current state of the country, not many people would understand where his views and actions are coming from. Ron Paul's views are great, don't get me wrong, but not for this country at the time being. I do think, though, that some of his opinions on things need to have great influence on the decisions at Capital Hill.
