I have 3 questions, all pertaining to in game play of Primal Groudon ex:

If both players have 2 Pokemon in play, say an active Landorus ex and a benched Primal Groudon ex for Player 1 and 2 Manectric ex for Player 2,can either player use Escape Rope resulting in Player 1 bringing Primal Groudon ex active?

Similar question, juxtaposed board positions for Player 1. If both players have 2 Pokemon in play, say an active Primal Groudon ex and a benched Landorus ex for Player 1 and 2 Manectric ex for Player 2,can either player use Escape Rope resulting in Player 1 benching Primal Groudon ex?

If Primal Groudon ex is active can a player use Pokemon Catcher or Lysandre to bring up another Pokemon from the opponent's bench whom has Primal Groudon ex active?

Edit: Missed that there was a 2a and 2b, asking about each player. Revised below

1. Yes. The active is the target of Escape Rope. It is "escaping" or being pushed away.

2a. If the owner of the Manectric EX's plays it, Escape Rope can be played and the Manectric EX's will be switched, but the Primal Groudon EX will stay put.
2b. If the owner of the Primal Groudon EX plays it, Escape Rope can be played and the Manectric EX's will be switched, and the Primal Groudon EX will also go to the bench. It's not immune to your own trainers.

3. Yes, as long as they choose something doesn't have the Omega Barrier trait. If by chance they choose a Pokemon with that Primal Trait, then the effect of the Trainer will be blocked and the Trainer will be discarded.
