Problems retaking the test?

I received an e-mail saying that my professor status applies in 1 month. Thing is, I don't have a link to the exam in my account. When I click on the other links in the professor section, I get a message saying that I am already a professor and don't need to take the test at this time.

Anyone else having problems?
 
I too faced the same problem. I got an email saying I have to retake the test and when I went to take it I get the message saying I do not need to retake it at this time. This is the same message I have gotten previously when I tried to retake the test just for kicks and giggles.
 
My best guess would have to be a glitch in the MyPokemon system about that retesting link. I noticed my expiration date got bumped a month later after getting the email. Hmm... looking at the email again, I think POP wants to give us at least a month to retest, since it makes a mention about failing and waiting X amount of days.

Guess we'll have to wait and see ^_^'

blah, I got another e-mail. The link still isn't there and I still get a message saying that I don't have to take it. Am I going to get an e-mail everyday? :eek:

I can understand that they don't want us to take a test for fun. It'd be like taking your teacher's final exam for fun (though a lot more boring). You'd get to know the questions. It's annoying to make up new test questions.

The "exam" link on the professor page needs to have a different target. It just takes you back to the My Pokémon page (gives you access to yours if you are logged in). There is no confirmation that you actually followed a correct link or if it is an error. A new page should be made or a message, such as a pop-up, should me made.

Yup, me too! The e-mail telling me to take the test but when you try to get into the test it tells you that you are already a prof and you do not need to take the test. I have sent an e-mail to them so I'll wait and see what comes back!

LOL and now my emails saying I can't retake the test are coming back too I wonder if they are overloaded?
 
I too have that e-mail for the last few days, the prograam must kick when it see's someone has a month left until the profship if over, then e-mails a genaercic e-mai lto them, well my quess is the pokemon-tcg site has no yet coded it to allow people who are currenttly profs to take the test, so I my quess is when have to wait until 4/4/ when most people expire, got me how that happen, for anyone of use to retake the test, good luck to everyone

RainbowRichards, I don't go to the Prof forums. I find them confining. I like Pokégym more.

If i get one more e-mail to retake an exam that I can't take because the link is not there, I'm setting my e-mail to filter the messages to go to the Bulk folder instead of the inbox.

Well, I already set up a filter to my new POP Prof email folder today :wink:
 
Check your MyPokemon page again and see if there isn't now a link in the Professor section to take the test!! It's there for me...
 
i too have been getting the daily email stating it expires of april 4th. and guess what? i just got two identical emails saying that it's expired NOW. april 4th got here pretty dang fast.

any idea what's going on anybody?
 
I too am not a professor any more

I hope the gyms owners here dont boot us off of this section yet.

I assume we will lose access to the PUI prof boards and not be able communicate there pretty soon

But if i lose my points and have 100 POP packs show up in the mail instead of a shirt Ill be bummed big time

To chime in, I received the same issue. I sent an email back to the Professor program detailing the problem, but if anyone has a suggestion as to a better place to send such an email, please let us know so that we can alert PUI to the problem (assuming that they aren't already aware of it).
 
OK, everyone's been bumped. Even the members of TC.

We have to drain the pool. :p
