Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Prof Championship

No, for those of us in the top 2, I know we had decks that we had to draft against our opponents twice. No "giveaways" for us!!!

Neither of us had "God" decks.

heck, I ran a 2-4 Eeevees (my lovely opponent took the other 3 Eevees from me), a 1-1 Arcanine (he also took all the Growlithe) and a 3-2 Weezing...once again, had cards taken.

Only had 5 trainers (he got 6), so it was pretty straight, and my finals opponent also had the same kind of "interesting" deck build.

Only ran into one "constructed" deck all day, in my opinion.

It was well done, and a fun format. A good idea to try.

Can't wait to see what they come up with next year!

Are you guys kidding me? You guys have this misconception about how Solomon draft is "supposed" to work and anything outside of that you call "against SotG." GMAB

No where in Solomon draft does it say you HAVE to hate draft your opponent. Shoot, in general it's not even a good strategy. No where does it say you HAVE to take as many "good" cards as you can. There are so many more complex strategies in draft than OMGZ GETS AS MOOCH L33TZ CARDIZZLES AS ME CAN!

When playing in a tournament you use the best strategy that you can. In this case, giving all the best cards to one person WAS the best strategy.
