I just received the box, and it is pretty cool. It's all black, with the red shadow of Groudon, and the prof program logo on the front, and on the back the prof logo and the POP logo. It's pretty solid, too.
I think that, for a professor, it may become useful when it comes to go somewhere to run a tournament, and you don't know how to safely carry all of the promos you want to bring out... Or Energies for a draft, or so on
