I had been "given" inside 'knowledge' from PUI that the team Aqua Magma set did not contain hidden cards. I was after the information as I needed to construct deck regisatration sheets for the last pre-release.
I did not publish this information though I did offer my knowledge to other organisers who also would have an interest in deck registration sheets to ensure the smooth running of their tournaments. I did not publish this little bit of inside knowledge that might elevate me up the ranks of those 'in-the-know'.
My reasons for keeping quiet were
1) That it might be construed as a breach of confidence.
2) Not up to me to second guess PUI's intentions
3) I am a trustworthy person
4) There was no need to whistle blow.
As it happened the information provided by PUI was incorrect and there were secret cards in the set. I won't speculate in an open forum as to why I was given information that was incorrect. I'm trying to build confidence and trust not to break it.
Maybe I need to alter my sig a little
Good news or bad news but not NO news or half news????
I am undecided if half news is worse than no news. I think that the answer depends upon how much information there is in the environment in which the little tid-bits of half news are being dropped. I believe that in an environment that is desperate for information half-news is WORSE than complete silence. A small noise has far too much impact when voiced in a cave of silence.
