I am Wondering if there is A study guide for the test
I have not taken it but my Hobby shop Lacks a professor
so there barely is league. According to the old professor it was hard aswell
Any tips or help on what to do?

I think its is against the rules for anyone to discuss the actual quetions, but I know that you are aloud to use any resources you want. You get like, 45 mins. One time I read the rules :D

They let use use things like the Compendium, because if you were to judge a tournament, that would be an open resource! They used it while I was at Regionals! (It helped secure my win )

how did it secure your win?

yeah, just read every question several times before answering, things should pop out of your head most of the times. IMO experience is more important than the actual rules once you know them xD. GL!

ShadowCard gave me the test two days ago and I didn't do so well.:frown: He's right in saying it's a "read the questions carefully test." Take your time and think. You can always retake it in two weeks if you don't pass.

That wasn't the Professor exam. There weren't as many questions.

No, I did not give you the Prof test, Fox McCloud. I really don't have a good memory of what was specifically on the test. And the Prof test has been overhauled since I took it so I haven't even seen it yet. The test I gave you was one that I made containing generally important, commonly asked, Modified-format questions. It is much easier than the actual (old version) Prof test and was much easier than I wanted it to be because I took out all the Unlimited questions I was going to ask. The Prof test I took wasn't so nice.

Serious recommendations on taking the Prof test: If the new version is any reflection of the old version, you will want to have the Tournament Ops Procedures, Tournament Rules, Penalty Guidelines, Tournament Formats, and Sanctioning Regulations documents PRINTED. You also want to be familiar with them so you can quickly get to the right sections. This will make it easier to flip through the pages when a question comes up about them. Have the Find on your browser ready to search BOTH Compendiums, but give priority to the Compendium EX. Have another browser ready to search the Pokegym Ask the Masters board.

Also, take it when you have the full time available to devote your attention to it. Don't take it between commercials and don't take it because you happen to have a spare 30 minutes. These questions are written with the intention of trying to outsmart you and see if you are paying attention.
