PSA Delays

We can use this thread to keep each other informed on expected and actual grading times as well as results.

Just a quick note to let you all know that there may be more big delays for some of you on your submissions. Ran out of pokemon cases and the case order is delayed. As of today there are no poke fit cases in stock. Once they come in it'll be a while to catch up due to the bottleneck so the delays will affect most orders.

So if an order was accepted on April 23rd, how long do you think the delay will be?

There are orders from mid March(over 65 business days) that have been graded but not encapsulated.

Let me know if any of you get results back and when were they recorded at what service level or number of days.

That is some bad news! I had an order that was scheduled to be done in the next couple weeks. I'll let you know if I get the grades back any time soon :/
I hate playing the waiting game....

So since the delay is going to be substantial, are they planning on doing any sort of reimbursement?

How many cards and which service did you use?

Also, there'll be an announced change soon whereas if your card gets an N-9 the charge will be deducted from the initial submission form amount. ie; no voucher will be given.
DON'T bug anyone in customer service about this cause most of the girls don't know yet and its not implemented yet.

I sent in 18 cards on my end, and raichuforyou and another guy sent at least 20+ on their end, so around 35-40 total.

raichuforyour would know which service exactly, but I think we used the monthly special of $6 per grade.

So we'll receive grades on time they just won't be encapsulated immediately? If that is the case then I'm okay with that...if not I'll be really antsy. I have 128 cards in right now (mine and funmonkeys) at the April 45 day special.

Just to note that as late as May 21 I received grades which were encapsulated and sent to me no problem. To aid with the timeline.

Jason...I'm afraid the grades are posted on the website during the verification process which comes AFTER encapsulation. So, sadly, we'll get no results till the cards are placed in the new holders. Didn't mean to mislead you.

The oldest Pokemon order i saw was one from March 20th for 39 cards and Friday was its 62nd business day in process:( Here's the sub line:

20688964 5222022 3/20/2013 N/A OK 39 Monthly Special 6 PSA

When that, or similar date gets completed ill try to remember to post it here.

Just to be clear...this miscalculation in the ordering process will affect almost all pokemon orders...right down the line.

Lastly, don't jump on PSA customer service with enquiries about this snafu. It will serve no useful purpose plus I'm telling you things in confidence and it could make things difficult for me.

I appreciate it. Now I won't be checking excessively.

I mirror Gary's sentiments, no one should bombard PSA. They'll do their best with the setback.

Make sure to post when anyone hears anything!

Just curious Gary, but when would be the ideal time for submitting new orders . . . I have about 120 cards to send in, but would prefer to keep them in my hands until you guys are caught up and normal flow returns.

Thanks again for the info . . . I don't think I could take the suspense if I were some of you

Hi butchdawg. I only consult with PSA now but, for sure, the best time to submit is NOW. Pretty much all orders longer than express will get pushed back.
Keep an eye on this thread to see when orders are coming back which may help you decide:)
Good luck when you do submit and keep us posted on grading time and your results;

Just got an orders result. Recorded as received at psa on 6/10/13 on a 10 day grade...so only 6 days to get the results. As I thought, expedited orders are going first. There's still 45 day grades not done after 60 business days.
