I got Deoxys ex and FA Latios EX for my 6 booster packs for the pre-release. In the two packs afterward I got Thundurus ex and Ace Spec Rock Guard.
All came from one sealed box.
Out of my first six packs I pulled FA Juniper and a Rock Guard. The kid to my left pulled Shiny Ultra Ball and Heatran-EX, the kid to my right pulled FA Deoxys-EX and Latios-EX, the kid in front of me pulled FA Heatran-EX and the kid across for the kid to the left of me pulled FA Thundurus-EX and Life Dew. Out of six people at my table, four Full Arts, a Shiny, two regular EXs and two Ace Specs, for a total of 9 Ultra Rares.
I did the math, should have been 36 packs, and it looked like they were all from the same box.

I pulled nothing out of my first six packs. Finally pulled a Deoxys EX from my last bonus pack. Then pulled a Life Dew in the draft, but that was it.
Granted, between the PR and the draft, the three friends I went with pulled FA Ghetsis, FA Juniper, FA Heatran EX, Heatran EX, Latios EX, Tornadus EX, and two Rock Guards.

Thought I was on topic? I put what I had pulled...
anyway to post again, I pulled RH exeggcute, Ghetsis, Plasma Ball, and Weavile. Our box between the six had 1 Juniper FA, 1 Deoxys FA, 1 Thunderus EX, and 1 Rock Guard.
i had the worst pre-release pulls of my life.
first 6 packs had a life dew, kingdra holo and hydreigon holo. no EX's and no trainers
i couldn't use the holos as i didn't pull the stage 1's.
ended up finishing 3-1. won 4 packs afterwards and didn't even pull a holo in those packs either.
Though i somehow beat a guy who pulled a thundurus EX & heatran Ex. Jolteon FTW!

Ours this morning was perhaps the most people we have had for Pre-Release in a while.
Though as usual lots of people just came & got the cards & left (boring!)
I went 3-0 with two legit wins, and one drop person win.
Since the person running it was really low on packs, he did not sell any or have a second event.
Here's what I pulled (no clue from where in the box, since he mixes them up into piles).

Foil Primeape

Foil Wooper
Foil Vanillite
Foil Litwick
Cacturne
Sceptile (striped holo)
Foil Mawile
2 Absol (one of each foil type)
Foil Pawniard (Cut)
2 Raticate
Rock Guard Ace Spec (which somehow came up in my opening hand on the games I won).
Plus 6 extra code cards (I always say "if you don't want your codes I will take them"!)
Of course made sure to thank them.
BTW I did not play the promo, since I only got Beldum & no Metang.
Yes this guy that runs it does not care if we use the promo card.
Not like it helped me when I did (usually go like 1-2).

how are people just paying the fee and walking away with the product without participating in the event?!!

After 2nd round you could tell like half the people were gone.
It's possible they had stuff to do for Cinco De Mayo, or wanted to watch the Derby?
Never really get that mindset of doing that.
If you bother getting up & paying $30, you might as well have fun with it.

There were a few players at the events I judged who played one round and then left. They didn't get the extra two packs at the end of the tourney.

Friend at a prerelease out of 6 packs pulled 1x Thundorus EX, 1x Kyurem, 1x Empoleon Shiny. Two extra packs had 1x Thundorus EX FA.

Exactly! I've stopped collecting just holos/rev-holos of each set 2/3 sets ago because of increased scarcity of these cards. Just didn't make good $en$e, for me at least, to continue building these binders of holos/rev-holos for each set. :frown:

The right hand side had more of the ultra rares. I didn't get any Kryurems--got one Absol. I got most of the regular/holo rares from the one box and one prerelease. It's just nice to have pulled a shiny from a pack. It's been a few sets since that's happened for me.
