whats the strategy?

- metagross line
+ pidgeot line

The stradegy of this deck is consistencey, speed, and energy manipulation. What else can you ask for? 8 basics either Nidoran or Beldum. They each get other basics in play, so there is no bad starter. The speed of evolving with Celio's, Nidorina's fast evolution attack, and draw cards for a quick setup. Then you attack with Nidoqueen the whole game and if necessary Metagross. After a Queen gets knocked out, the Queen that you promote to active should be able to always have enough energy to use power lariat either because of DRE's or Metagross's poke power to get psyicic energy back. Nidoqueen and Metagross should be doing consistent damage of anywhere between 60-100 when active. It will not be easy to knock out 4 Nidoqueen's that always have energy.

4x Beldum HL
3x Metang DX
3x Metagross DX

4x Nidoran FRLG
3x Nidorina FRLG
4x Nidoqueen FRLG
1x Latias * (easier to get than you think) (ex attacker)

4x Rare Candy
4x Celio’s Network
3x Copycat
2x Steven’s Advice
2x Atm Rock / Cursed powder
3x Desert Ruins
2x Mr. Briney’s Compassion
1x Pokemon Retriever

4x Holon’s Magneton
3x Scramble
4x Grass
6x Psychic

With the Strat that you just gave it make no sense to only have 4 psychic Nrg. Latias is in there for emergency use. Say you have an Ex in front of you that you know won’t k.o. from a 100 hit. Well.. 150 should do it. The only Pokemon that would survive a 150 hit and 1 damage Counter from ruins is probably Steelix Ex. And Nidoqueen should MORE than handle him. So good Luck and Have fun. I didn't change anything drastically cause This is your deck...

Your deck lacks a powerful draw engine. The reason Queendom works so well is it has an awesome draw system. 3/2/3 Pidgeot is probably the best draw engine in the game. Its going to be hard to get the thoes two different lines too work. IMO Nidoqueen qorks best with Pidgeot or Nidoking. Not much else should go with it. Gross slows it down to much.

I like the idea of Latias * that might actually work, but that would mean I need to use Holon's Magneton or Electrode. I would rather still use DRE it increases speed. I also don't understand why you would suggest using scramble energies. With the way this deck is set up it is not likely that I will be behind in prizes therefore making them almost useless. I also had 9 draw cards and you narrowed that # down to 5. That will not cut the mustard. The objective of this deck is to be consistent, fast and always having enough energy to attack. Thanks for the idea though.

If you add four Aipom will that help you from having a mulligan or benching out?

That should not be a problem because Beldum and Nidoran can get basics and I should be able to get the rest of the basics with draw cards and celio's.

Believe me I know all about Pidgeot. I want to ask you if you know about pidgey? It really sucks when you start with him. 3 pidgey's is asking for a likely inconsistent setup in some games. That is not what I am looking for in this deck.
