hey son, I'll have no sass. i ran metagross dragonite without a starter a few times and won the cites i played with it in.

i made the changes and the amphaross is awesome!
I still need to get the stantler but my card shop sucks and the manager focuses on comics more than cards so he hasnt ordered the starter decks and stuff yet.
 
Not to mention Lati-lock makes matchups against Monarchy (Nidoking...) a lot easier. Sure, they'll try to drag off your Latis, but Latios EX d gives the two free retreat, and then you can abuse weakness while their Nidoking's unable to charge up quickly.

Sounds like a good tech, in all honesty.
 
yea it sounds like its going to be a lot better than it used to be. im giong to have to pick up a latios ex and put it in my deckbox with the rest of my techs.

do you mind if i post my list to make sure im not missing anything (now that a new set has come out)?
edit: like any roseannes? oaks visit in place of TVR (most likely), new duskull, etc...

Amphy places a damage counter on all of your opponent's pokemon whenever they play a supporter.

It DOES feel kinda random, but it can make your opponent have to think about using supporters (of course, if Ampharos comes out too late, then it'll be rather useless as most supporters are used in the first few turns)

Yeah, that is the only problem with Amphy. If it doesn't get out fast enough, then its not going to do much at all. I do like it's attack though. Being able to spread around 20 damage is very good.
 
what i do is when i play my first mentor, (if i have a candy in my hand) ill grab the mareep. than search for the ampharos next turn and evolve, then continue set up.
