Question about gaining EV points

Say you u just battled a Swanna for 2 speed ev points, will any pokemon holding exp. share also gain those ev points?

Slap on the Power hold (whichever one is needed to boost the stat)item and have the Pokerus on the Pokie without the exp.share, and increase the amount of effort points earned to help the exp.share gain even more and too reduce the time it takes.

Answer is yes.

@Benzo, are you sure that the pokemon with exp. share gets all the evs that the active does? I dont think thats true. I think the exp share will just give it the base 2 speed evs from defeating the swanna (in this case) and will not add any boosts related to other pokemon

I do not see any reason why it wouldn't boost it- but then again, if the active gets (+??) effort points, then why wouldn't the exp.share holder recieve the same amount if the active gets the boosted points?
( then again, it wouldn't be the first time I would be wrong on here.....things change with every new gen/game that comes out....)

Well if you retreat your active for a 3rd pokemon and that one has a different power item. Then 3 of yours (the firs,t the second, and the exp shared one) will all be getting ev points. I dont think each pokemons power items are going to affect anything other than themselves

maybe it would help if I said that ya need to have the exp.share holder out first, then retreat to the Pokie that is gonna do the KO'n.....
(thats the norm I do at least anyways until the exp.share holder is at a level it can hold it's own....)

Why not have the pokemon you wanna EV train have pokerus and the power item and put them out first and switch to a stronger pokemon?

The EXP Share DOES NOT transfer bonuses.

For example: Your active has Pokerus, your EXP Share'd one does not. The Swanna would give 4 to the active, but only 2 to the Share'd. If the active was holding the Power items, that also WOULD NOT transfer.
