Question on possible fake Fossil pack? Resealed?

Someone who sold me some counterfeit Pokemon Gameboy games the other day, also threw in three fossil booster packs. I wasn't sure if these were fake or not, and I didn't know if there was a way to tell without opening the pack?? So I opened one and it included 3 trainer cards, and no energy cards. Is this normal? Is it possible the packs have been resealed?

Can you say exactly what cards were in the pack?
No energy is not a problem. That set didn't have any Basic Energy.

I don't have the cards on me but it was all the normal you would expect.. 7 commons (3 trainers), A non holo hypno, and then three uncommons

Sounds normal to me. If they are re-sealed the perforations on the pack will be all vertical instead of crossed (I hope that makes sense). The packs seem legit from what you described.

Now does it matter if you got them free whether or not they were fake?
Why look a gift horse in the mouth?
However I think with all the information you provided that it is legit.

I'm not trying to sound arrogant! I just wanted to know for future reference as well. I like to know I have the real thing in my hand

Scans would be lovely too!
Of the booster pack and the cards (front and back)
Though I doubt someone would go that in depth to fake a booster pack...
