Question on Tauros

My roomate and I were trying out the new TFG and we had a question about Tauros, when it says, your opponent moves the figure two spaces away who gets to choose? What do we consider "away" and what if there is a figure blocking its path? What if the pokemon can choose between a free path and a path that is blocked by a figure? Could you choose the path with the figure but since you can't go anywhere stay in the same place?

The player controlling Tauros makes the move.

Your opponent must move it 2 spaces, if possible. If that isn't possible, they must move it 1 space away. If that isn't possible, it still has Wait.

Ah see the if possible statement would have been nice on the figure *hint hint*

As this applies to more than just one figure, it is part of the game rules. (As per the rulebook, page 9, under resolving Purple attacks.)
