Question Regarding Exeggutor's

Here is a situation I've had but would like to know what the correct way to calculate the Damage
Exeggutor LV43 (Psychic hp 80 Attacks Psychic Strategy and Super Eggsplosion)
uses Super Eggsplosion and Discards Energies attached to a benched Grass Exeggutor LV 46(hp 90
attacks String Bomb and Nutritional support)
while Sceptile GE is in play.. so heres my question
Would I flip 2 times for every energy discarded or 1

Only one flip per energy card.
Note that the attack says "for each energy card you discarded, flip a coin".
While the energy might be doubled, it is still one card. That is not doubled.
