Can you help me?!?!?

If I have a DUSTOX (Ruby&Sapphire) against AGGRON EX (Sandstorm).

1) Does Dustox's Protective Dust prevent the 30 addictive damage of Aggron's Rend if it have any damage counters on it?
And with Zangoose's Super Slash?

2) Does Dustox's Protective Dust prevent all the damages to the bench by Aggron's Metal Surge, if it is my Active Pokèmon? And if it is one of my Benched pokèmon, does it prevent the 20 damages by Metal Surge?

If I have DUSTOX against KABUTOPS EX (Sandstorm).

3) Does Dustox's Protective Dust prevent the healing effect of Kabutops's Spiral Drain (remove 2 damage counters)?

If I have DUSTOX against VIGOROTH (Sandstorm).

4) Vigoroth use its first attack Focus Energy. Then, it use Slash. Dustox takes 90 or 40 damages? Its Pokèbody prevent the effect of Focus Energy?

If i have DUSTOX against SHIFTRY HL?

5) Can i prevent the effect of the first attack? For the effect of the second attack i think the answer is the same of Aggron's Rend.

These are other questions:

6)Wurmple Ruby&Sapphire has an attack called Sign Of Evolution. I can look for Silcoon and Beautifly or Cascoon and Dustox. Can i look for “Dustox & Beautifly” or only for Beautifly?
7)If i use Silcoon's Gooey Thread, and the defending pokèmon evolves, the effect ends or not? And if is Silcoon thant evolves into Beautifly during the turns?
8) I draw the firsts 7 cards and i find only fossil (like root fossil or mysterious fossil). Can i play them like pokèmon? Or they are still trainers at the start of the game?
9)Can i play Prof Oak Research's or Copycat if i have no other card in my hand?
10)Low Pressure System says “Each G and L pokèmon in play gets +10HP”. It is'n write “...until the cards stay in play...”. So, if my opponent play another stadium card, all my grass and lighting pokèmon lose or no 10 HP?

Finally:

11)Somebody told me my turns can't during more than 1 minute. If i have many trainers in my hand, can my turn during more than 1 minute?
12)If i use Linoone's Seek Out, has my opponent to waiting until i take the two cards from the deck? Or he can starts his turn?

Sorry for my bad english...thanks for your answers.

Since you seem to be asking for help from Professors, I'll copy this to the Prof Forum.
I'll also leave it here so you can get official answers, but that will take longer.

1 ,2,3,4 the answer is NO

because dustox only prevent effect done to it ,not the damage applying on dustox or the attacking pokemon

6) no,plz follow the instruction of that card
7) yes the effect is gone
8) u can choose whether to mulligan or not,if u want to treat it as a pokemon then put it down,if not then draw a new hand
9) yes
10) yes
11) if u play all of them ,i don think this is consider stalling
12) your opp waits for u ,because he/she must wait for your pokemon effect to end in order to starts his/her turn

I'm pretty sure you would have to have a Basic Pokemon in your hand in order to place one in the Active position... It's perfectly fine if you place it on your Bench, though.

If you're responding to question 8 you are incorrect. jesschow12 is correct. You can start a game by placing a fossil (Claw, Root, or Mysterious) in the active position and no other basic in your hand or there fore on your bench.

Note: Burried fossil is a completly different "type" of card. It is a basic pokemon and you must start with it if you draw it in your starting hand. The other fossils are trainer cards until you place them into play so you may take a mulligan with only them in your hand. Burried Fossil also may become affected by a special condition unlike the other 3, and because it is a basic Pokemon and doesn't just "count as one when in play" your opponet does draw a prize if it is knocked out.
