Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Quizzical Fun

i ll write the next question!!!

There is a knight captured by the enemy. The king let's him say a statement. If the statement is true he will be fed to dragons. If the statement is false he will be hanged. The knight said a statement that confused the king. It confused the king so much that the king let the knight go. What is the statement that the knight said?

Sorry mom and poliwag, josh already got it correct.
If he will be hanged and it's true he will be fed to dragons, but making it false.so he will be hanged, but that will make it true.so the king got confused and let him go. Josh youll write the next question.

"neither true or false", but the statement ill be hanged is in a continuous cycle if u think.your state ment is like leaving an answer blank

Ajax has let me know that as a dragon, he was offended by the previous question...

Oh, and 8 + 8 = 91... is correct if you look at it umop-3pIsdn

Yippee!

Okay... I guess I might make this a bit more right-brain, just to mix things up and to make it more of a challenge for me as well.

Hmm... what is the longest 1-syllable, 1-vowel word in the English language?

Strengths

Well, dang. That didn't take as long as I thought, either. Indeed, it is strengths.

Next Quizzical Fun Challenge:

On a long bus journey with his two grandchildren, a man realises he has left his flask of tea behind. Luckily, his granddaughter has brought five cans of lemonade while his grandson has three. During the journey, they share all of them equally between the three. Afterwards, as a reward for their generosity, he gives them eight 10p coins, telling them to share them in proportion to their contribution of lemonade. How should it be done?

Give the amount each receives and explain if you can.

Though I think that my answer is too easy I will say that the Granddaughter will recieve five 10p coins and the grandson gets three 10p coins. However I am wondering if this is one of the questions that are harder than they seem, or seem harder than they are.

nope, if they all shared equally, 8/3 = 2.6666... cans each, so...
the grandson gave 2/3 of his, while the granddaughter gave 2/5 of hers, thats 60% and 40%, so the granddaughter should get 3 coins, and the grandson should get 5 coins, if we round. If we dont, 3.2 for granddaughter and 4.8 for the grandson This is an approx since im assuming we cant break the coins down

No, not 5 10p/3 10p.
Probably harder than it seems...
Try again.

Started off the right way...but in the end...no...
Not 3 coins/5 coins.
Try again.

Hint: No rounding is needed.

I'll give a rare post to this topic :)

The granddaughter started with 5 cans and the grandson started with 3 cans. The contribution is what they gave to their grandfather. Since each person gets 2.6666... cans, the granddaughter has given 2.3333... cans (7/3,) and the grandson has given 0.3333... cans (1/3.)

So, the granddaughter should get 7 coins, and the grandson only 1.

Yes, correct, the granddaughter receives 7 coins and the grandson receives 1 coin.

Ron13, it's your turn to post the next quizzical fun challenge.
