I don't like omastar mostly because helix fossil is unsearchable in the deck.

Omastar... is sick. anyone not running it in T-tar is crazy. It gets you like 4 prizes on 1 turn, honestly. Just hold it in your hand until late game, it doesn't matter if it's searchable or not. With Claydol cycling, you should get it when you need it easy.

So I just got back into the game and for my first tournment back I deiced to go with t-tar since the tops at all the near by cities were easy match ups for it except for a few machamp here and there. So heres my list.

4-2-4Tyranitar
2-2 Weavile
2-2 Claydol
4 Sableye
-------------------------------------24

4 Bebe's Search
4 Roseanne's Research
3 Felicity's Drawing
4 Rare Candy
1 Luxury Ball
2 Warp Point
2 Moonlight Stadium
2 Night Maintenance
-------------------------------------22

4 Special dark
10 Basic dark
-------------------------------------14

Basically set up a t-tar or two and just beat down FTW!!!

In every t-tar deck I fix there's always darkrai...(sigh) I'm a pretty experienced t-tar player and it just doesn't work. Make the t-tar line bigger instead, that's what it's all about. But I gotta admit this is the best t-tar deck i've posted on.

When is it bad to KO their attacker? Hardly ever.

When is it bad to be overly-reliant on spread thirty? When you're trying to recover from a losing position.

Plus, at a minimum, it's a three-card investment for Omastar to just lay it down, and it might spare you what, one turn of Spinning? Darkrai Lv. X is easier to get into play, better as an independent card, more situationally flexibile, and I don't think there's anything in the format that can survive a hit for 150 (Darkrai-pumped Grind w/5) after taking thirty (Tail 80 to active and 30 to bench).

It's your deck, your consistency, play what you will.
