everyone's talking about the eggs variant that won, but what about rai/wak? it looks nice for the seemingly popular rai/eggs matchup, and isn't really hurt by some stuff that ppl can easily tech against the rai/eggs (like giant stump)

4 cubone
4 marowak d
4 pikachu d
4 raichu d
4 jirachi (DX)
=20

4 metal (wak gets bonus too)
2 heal
3 fighting
3 scramble
3 DRE
=15

4 holon transciever
3 adventurer
2 researcher
1 lass (for wak? just tech, prob. crap)
2 mentor
2 atm rock
2 energy root
2 Pow!HE
3 Admin
4 swoop! (don't know about this one either)
=25

just came up w/ the decklist, don't know how it works, but it looks pretty good on paper (no paper, it's a computer screen! D'OH!). can a rai/wak player from nats back me up on this list?

EDIT: updated the list. swoop is for jirachi to get a t2, and i guess it's better for raichu or 'wak to have +20 hp than to do 30 damage when they get knocked out...so that's why the energy roots are there.

It makes no sense playing 4 castform in a deck that doesn't have a delta cubone. if 4 castforms are to be played then ur delta draw should yield as much as possible and unfortunatly, rai/wak can't do that for you. so - 3 castform + some consistancy cards.

-2 holons magnimite (dont want to start with that thing)
-2 heal
-4 holons castform
- 1 desert ruin

+1 scramble
+3 DRE
+4 dunsparce (downdraw)
+ 1 chimecho

I have more experience with this deck than anyone, so lemme explain it some:

-You don't need gyms. They just cut into your consistency.
-Run Roots
-You MUST run admin.
-All you need are two researcher, since transceiver=researcher. if you run two and four, that's virtually six researcher :D

GL in your testing =)

totally forgot about the whole castform counting holon pokes thing...<smack on forehead>

i'll try and change the list as much as i can to fit the fixes...Surge, i'm not so sure that i like the dunsparce in here...maybe jirachi? idk.

@Patriarch: is it really gym-less? don't u need as much help as u can get against lbs, rock lock, etc to spread damage for a game-winning rock? i agree w/ everything else, tho, especially since it looks like i'll be cutting the castforms; total d0nk on my part =( what do u think about a swoop/jirachi engine for being able to maximize the possibility of a rai/wak t2?

will be editing list on the first post...keep it coming! still haven't been able to test yet, but i'll try.

your energy should be 4 metal 4 delta rainbow 2 heal 2 Scramble, and 3 holon somebody

DRE on WAK means youll just be doing 10 damage... and that defeats the purpose. and since Rai and Wak are delta the rainbow means you'll never be short on metal, and holon is there because it's great to bounce back heal energy...

and for cubone you should run the rockets version with the "Reveal till you find basic" its a colorless attack.

can somebody P L E A S E post a decklist of this deck with the DX-on format!?
atm rock and admin are gone in the new format
this deck will not work without those two

i so hope this wins worlds
then all the people who are unable to build their own decks will have nothing to copy...

agreed on every count...i also forgot about the whole reducing damage to everyone on DRE. i like ur energy line a lot. TRR cubone is good as well.
