Dear forum members,
I love Electric decks and have previously posted many different Electivire and Raichu based decks. One of the other electric fans in my league today turned me onto Luxray and I was really impressed when I saw the Luxray version coming out in the next set, Legends Awakened. I think the strategy of this deck is pretty obvious--power up with Raichu, discard with Raichu or LA Luxray, get your energies back with either Rotom or Night Maintenance, and also take advantage of both Luxio and LA Luxray's free retreat. The beauty of DP Raichu is that theoretically there is no limit to its attack power depending upon how many energies you are able to attach. I kept the trainer line simple with Felicity Drawing being the key card so you can get Lightning energies in the discard pile. I also want to play 3 Warp Points instead of the usual 2 because of the lack of sniping ability and to take advantage of DP Luxray' energy transfer ability. As always, comments and suggestions welcome--please, however, limit suggestions to adding DP-on format cards--I am trying to build a next season tournament legal deck.
