I think doing 100 damage for one energy, doing 60 while negating 20 for two, having 150 HP and a retreat cost of one is a good deal... yeah?

4-2-4 Rampardos PL
2 Farfetch'd SF
2-2 Claydol
2 Unown G
2 Uxie
1 Relicanth SV

4 Candy
3 Bebe
4 Expert Belt
4 Poke'drawer
4 Roseanne's
3 Fossil Excavator
2 BTS
2 Super Scoop Up
1 Lux Ball
1 Palmer's
1 Warp Point

8 :fighting:
2 Cyclone Energy (To send Spiritomb to my opponent's bench)

My strategy here is to start with Farfetch'd and search for either a fossil, Rare Candy or Expert Belt in order to get my Rampardos out by t2. After t2, I'm merely aiming to go for well timed Skull Bashes and Mold Breakers.

I've yet to play test my deck and it seems to look good on paper. However, I'm kind of curious as to whether it could be more consistent. I also think Poke'drawers or Healers would be good here; though I'm not sure what to take out for them. A second Warp Point would be good as well, but I'm reluctant to take out the Farfetch'd since this deck relies so heavily on trainers. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated, as always.

DONKASAURUS REX!!!

Well, I actually thought about running this, too. It has quite a destructive potential! Take out the Farfetch'd, though. It can get a little out of hand. Having too many techs can be trouble. Try to go for 4 Uxie LA, 1 Mesprit MT, and good ol' claydol. Look at some other decks and see what their tech lines are. I am sure you will find some good advice to what you are looking for. Good luck in testing!:thumb:

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Oh yeah... you need an Azelf. Either would work.

Why Azelf? I didn't think I needed it due to my lines being solid the way they are. Also, I run so many Farfetch'd so I can start with them since I can't start with a fossil. Thanks for your feedback.

I dunno. Last time I checked; a fossil wasn't a basic Poke'mon until it was in play as opposed to in your hand. I'll go look it up though.

During setup you may start with a fossil, however on the first turn of the game you may not play a fossil down.

I'd probably make the Ramapardos line 4-3-3 instead of 4-2-4. I don't know if you'd want to add Luxury Ball or not. I think adding in more Pokedrawers and Pokehealers would make this deck too inconsistant.

Hm, good point. I forgot Lux Ball and Warp Point... that's what happens when you make a list off the top of your head. Time to revise my list!

Yeah, Luxury Ball would really help. Spiritomb really gives this deck trouble. I would try to find space for a card that can do 60 for not too many energy. I was thinking Uxie Lv. X, but I'm sure that there are other possibilities. Unown Q might help you a little, as you can get the donk T1 if you start with like a Uxie and you have the Fossil Excavator, Candy, and Rampardos in your hand. Use Unown Q to give Uxie free retreat and then Head Smash for the donk.

Hm, I might take the Farf' out and add two Unown Q and a Warp... I'll be play testing this thing today at league and getting to see first hand how effective ol' Farfy is...

Strange tech but I suggest using a 1-1 or 2-1 Blaziken FB X techs for the following reasons:
If dialga sees blaze he/she will get out a water tech allowing you to KO with no drawbacks.
If you want to escape dialga or spiritomblock then bring up a claydol or bronzong G.
If dialga doesn't have a water tech then you can use jet shoot. You KO their main attacker and they only get a tech.

Play the old Relicanth (water-type) from MT. It's the best card to pair with Rampardos, hands-down. It let me search out 3 fossils in ONE turn, then break a deafen lock by putting dialga to sleep 3 turns in a row so that I could drop my fossils/evolve.

Possibly, sounds good, either way it's the water one with two attacks, one searching out 3 fossils and the other for [C][C] that puts both actives to sleep. It's gooooood in this deck.

I feel you. I was looking at that card earlier, as a matter of fact. Unfortunately, I do not own any. I'll try to pick a couple up at league today. How many did you run?

Why Azelf? I didn't think I needed it due to my lines being solid the way they are. Also, I run so many Farfetch'd so I can start with them since I can't start with a fossil. Thanks for your feedback.
Well, if you actually read it, you would notice that I said EITHER Azelf. You can do the MT one so you can use its body with the Mesprit. I did not necessarily mean the LA one.

Alright. I think I'm going to replace the 3 Farf' with GE Relicanth when I get my hands on them. I am still curious about Healers or Drawers being a good play here since Rampardos can damage it self and Drawers would be good so I could search for a fossil and a candy, then Bebe for Rampardos. Any ideas on what I should take out for either of these lines? Or if they're worth playing considering what I have already.
