what would be a good tech for this deck against spiritomb AR????????????

please help

and also would sableye be a good tech??? and like four poke rescue to quickly recover with another raticate.

Against Raticate AR? Toxicroak G Promo OHKOs it, even with Expert Belt.

Expert Belt OHKOs Spiritomb. If you don't do Expert Belt, then Crobat G drops + pick any tool!

Fish

Cyclone Energy... They aren't going to just sit there with Spiritomb all game as you will KO them and they won't get it on you.

Anyone who runs Spiritomb will IMMEDIATELY bench a backup to get around Cyclone and Regice.

I've found that the best way around Spiritomb is to GO THROUGH IT.

If you're truly focused on being Anti Spiritomb, you'd simply use Sabeleye to set up any combo that does more than 60.

OR.. set up Sabeleye as the Spirtomb exterminator (bat drop + Overconfident)

Then... there's always a Dialga G start and Leveling up T2 :/

Then, you could warp, switch, whatever you need to do because Spiritomb is shut off.

^yep. sableye+crobat G is the best way to do it. they will usually send up another spiritomb as well, two prizes easily.

The Unowns are Tools attachable under Spiritomb's Body. Granted, they only make Cate's attack go to 40, but still, it's better than doing nothing.

Or, you could sit there with your first Raticate and just pick away at their hand until they have only a couple Supporters left in the entire deck.

I like the Sableye idea, though. Makes donking even easier and allows you to setup further in a pinch. It's also another way to get around Fainting Spell (though Uxie+Belt+other damage modifiers should be enough).

Garchomp Lv.X and Snowpoint hehe.

 Garchomp Lv.X does nothing to help. and Snowpoint only gives +20hp to Basic Pokemon.

Unown E gives +10hp, but Raticate's attack will only be 60 for :colorless:.
Which is not all that bad actually, but probably if that's all it has for an attack, and only 80hp (with the Unown E)...
it won't last in competitive play.

Discard Raticate with Regice or Felicity or something

Use Garchomp LV X's Restore attack to put Raticate on your Bench as a Basic

Snowpoint now gives it +20 HP

Yeah, it's terrible but it DOES work.
