Another Rayeels deck 16 pokemon, 32 trainers, and 12 energy. I've already taken some of the advice that I've read in previous threads and could use a critique of my own list. Only 1 emolga cause of ditto and mew. Only 2 Ray because of mew. Electrode is tech for late game N resistance. Considering the necessity of baby ray or victini for a non ex attacker and considering the necessity of keldeo/floatstone to get out of active even when trainer locked. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Pokemon: 16
4 Eelektrik
4 Tynamo
1 Voltorb
1 Electrode
1 Emolga
1 Ditto
1 Mr. Mime
1 Mew EX
2 Rayquaza EX

Trainers: 31
3 Skyla
4 Professor Juniper
4 N
3 Pokemon Catcher
4 Escape Rope
3 Ultra Ball
3 Level Ball
2 Super Rod
1 Sky Arrow
1 Tool Scrapper
1 Max Potion
1 Energy Search
1 Dowsing Machine

Energy: 13
4 Fire
1 Prism
8 Lightning

Following are some thoughts/comments for your consideration:
  • A 1-1 Electrode is not only likely to be inconsistent with card draw support (e.g., either Poké is prized), but each provide another "easy" Catcher-1HKO target. Secondly, there are only 7 card draw Supporters which I believe are quite insufficient.
  • Mew EX is quite "fragile" with its relative "low" HP and is "easily" KOd. In addition, the inclusion of Prism energy does enhance the deck's consistency (especially without Computer Search to go and get the Prism energy).
  • Ditto is another "easy" prize and perhaps not wroth the precious card slot. For example, suppose your opponent started with Landorus EX and started first. He/she just needs to Hammerhead the Ditto once (if it is the defending Poké) or twice (if it is bench warming) to make it ineffective. Can't place a Tynamo onto the Ditto if it has 60 damage. And would you really use a Max Potion on this Poké versus something else more important to you?
  • 4 Skyla are too many, IMHO.
  • Likewise, 4 Switch are also too many, again IMHO. When your Eelektrik is Catchered, it will typically be KOd.
  • Although the Prism energy provide versatility, they will also be huge targets for Hammers too. And you can not recover them once they are discarded...
So, I'd suggest the following:
-1 Voltorb
-1 Electrode
-1 Mew EX
-1 Ditto
-1 Skyla
-1 Switch
-2 Prism

+1 Colress. To help with card draw support.
+2 Bianca. To help with card draw support, especially after you deplete your hand when you play, for example, Ultra Ball.
+1 Reshiram. To counter PlasmaKlang decks. Also, a good starter in this deck.
+1 Mewtwo EX. This Poké is a bit "sturdier" than Mew EX, has a stronger attack, and does not require special energy.
+1 Energy Retrieval. At times, you will need to directly get R energy (also Hammer tagets) from your discard pile. An ER can help.
+2 R energy.

I hope you find some of these suggestions helpful.

/\ agreed exept for reshi dont see how its a good starter or even good in this deck try v-create victini
Reshiram works quite well in my deck; consider its Outrage attack - who wants to attack it early game when I can easily repsond with potential high damage output. Secondly, chances are very, very slim it will ever be donked. Lastly, it's a counter to PlasmaKlang decks without the requirement of a full bench.
