Really Stupid Question.

Okay, here it is. I pretty much stopped collecting cards around the release of the game Pokémon Gold/Silver. I got some here and there, but that was about it. Now I've started collecting again, but my mind has totally slipped up as to the problem of energys. I understand that a deck should have energy cards prominent. Now, to my stupid question; If an attack has a colourless energy next to it, can you substitute colourless for another energy? Sorry if this seems ignorant. You're probably all thinking GTHO noob, but it's a serious question. My deck is 16 psychic and 4 normal, and every single card (give or take) requires that. Please be nice with answers to this, it's been a LONG time.

Attacks with the :colorless symbol mean any type of energy will cover that cost. And I mean ANY enregy :fire::grass::fighting::lightning:psychic::dark::metal::colorless and beyond.

By the way, this should have been in the Single cards forum. :p

Thanks for the response, I don't really care if it's "moved or locked". I'm new here, shoot me for not knowing what I'm doing. But to the first two replies, thanks so much, it's all cleared up now. :)

I'm glad you got your answer. I don't suppose there are any further reason to keep this topic open, but one more thing before we go: The gym mods and admins would appreciate your help in this matter. The original poster in this case is new here. (By the way - Welcome ElectricFlames. We're looking forward to seeing many more posts from you, but don't worry about silly questions. It's really better to get an answer than not asking what you really need to know.) So we'd like it if everyone showed a bit more compassion, and instead of mini-modding - even if that wasn't your original intention, please report something wrong with posts. If something should be in a different portion of the forums, if you find rude or unruly posts, or just plain spam, please, just report the posts. The mods and admins will take care of it. They aren't here to banhammer you. They are here to help as well - if we do our jobs right that is. To report posts, just click on the little red triangle at the bottom left hand corner of a post. A new box will open where you can give a reason for the report, then hit send. It's as easy as that. We'll take it from there. Thanks again for all your help.
