Regarding Japanese Players and Worlds

I've always assumed that because they are sets ahead, they have already played the meta/format we have in current circulation. Therefore, they are simply playing a meta they have already tested and potentially mastered.

japan wins almost every year because they have had everything for awile and are used to it and there proplably going to win if they come this year because they are used to the format hs-on and face it have more practice than us pokemon is part of it's school system

Lol then I'm moving to Japan.


I bet a lot of people from Japan will be playing grinder. Now thats gonna make one hard grinder..
I wonder if they will allow more people to qualify by grinder this year because of the empty slots that were supposed to be filled by japanese players from their worlds qualifying events?

I'm just picturing the Japanese players reading the Deck Help forum and saying 'Oh . . . . so THAT's what they're all playing for Worlds!'

That totally does not explain their success.
