Pokemon:
4x Reshiram
3x Tepig
2x Pignite
2x Fandango
1x Bad Boar
1x Stantler (to set up in cases of bad hands)

Standard Trainer line, but with lots of supporters. Most notable, this variant plays 4 Junipers to get rid of useless cards in the midgame and to get fire energies. The supporters, in effect, replace Ninetales.

15 fire energy

Issue
How would the Reshiboar deck stack up against the following decks:
*Reshiphlosion
*Magneboar
*Yanmegazone
*Donphan and Dragons
*Donphan and Yanmega
*Ross.dec
*MewBox
*Goth
*Kyurem Variants
*ZPST
*Feraligatr + Kingdra Prime (not sure if this is main stream or rogue, but at least 2 good players use it)
*Mirror Reshiboar but with Ninetales
*Any other important decks that I forgot...

Meta
The meta is heavy on Reshiphlosion and Goth. I have yet to see a single ZPST. A few guys play Donphan. Only one very strong player uses Magneboar...

Thanks!

bump! please help.

Reshiboar typically has positive matchups against TyRam and Goth. The biggest issue is getting set up consistently and getting past the first couple of turns against rush decks (ZPST, Stage 1's, etc.). Also having enough energy recovery is vital to how the deck functions once it is up and running.

If you are looking for deck advice, I suggest you post your full list in the deck section and try what people suggest to help you out. Some things may work, some may not. Reshiboar can be built in many different ways, as is the case with most decks out there. The big thing is to find a list that you like and understand, that also covers the threats in your area.

Thanks for your reply.

My deck is pretty much set for now. I just wanted to know if there were any particular matchups where Reshiboar might not do as well. If there are, then I want to see if I could include some techs to deal with that matchup.
