Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

RESULTS: Crawley SE Challenge, 06 Dec, UK

Dave we are working on it believe me, next year should see leagues growing as The Place for Games Expands Leagues in the UK and promotes the game more.

In the meantime if you have the players, the venue and the inclination we can send you promos from WotC years 1-4 to keep your players amused. :)

Mid 2004 should see us move into Birmingham for both a Midlands South East Challenge Roadshow and UK or English Nationals too.

Hope we see ya there?

Hey everyone, just to confirm I'll be there for the judging and Shaun will be playing in the 10- group. Look forward to seeing you all there!!

Tomorrow we unleash the first Sanctioned Tournament outside Continental US onto an unsuspecting world :)

The South East Challenge Team would like to acknowledge that this would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of www.theplaceforgames and there Pokemon Customer Service Slave Charlie Cohen ... Thanks again Charlie and thanks to Carl Crook who owns the place for games for understanding a TO's frustrations.

Tomorrow will be fun, tomorrow I be amazed and surprized by all those deck varients and just how imaginative our players can be.

SE Challenge 5 is GO !! POP in the UK is GO !!

SE Challenge 6 - "Carrot Crunchers of the Fenlands" ... is coming soon ..... to a venue in Norfolk...

I just think my 'puter didn't like traveling...

I'll post the standings shortly

but heres an interesting little factlet:the median distance traveled by competitors to the tournament was 110 miles round trip.

Many thanks to all the players parents and the judges Nigel and Martin without whom.....

Thanks! :)

Did i finish 13th?
Hayden was really good, i played him and he beat me in about 5 minutes with his Amphoros ex! ;)
Thanks for the prizes, i immediately put Kyogre ex in my deck! :D

Great fun and a great tournament! :D

A bit lower.....44/53 overall, 19th in your age group. It was the largest age group though.

Steven please email/PM me your address so I can get a POP ID for you. DONT POST IT ON THE BOARDS

Once again Ian'NoPoke'Fotheringham pulls out the stops and we end up with another brilliant S E Challenge! Congrats to Ian and his wife! I thoroughly enjoyed judging again and thought the standard of decks ( even of the inexperienced and newbies ) was excellant! Many congrats to the winners ( Ben Ward, the one and only, and Chris Dent ) and special congrats to my son Shaun Banham ( PokePup ) who took the honours in the 10- section with his Mewtwo EX/ Gardevoir EX deck ( specially tweaked the night before! )

Glad to see that most people stuck to the rules( Freddie 'cough' shuffle/draw 'cough' Khan!! )
But best of all everyone had a blast!! Now to the next one! ( Oh damn!! Just realised the next ones mine!! ) Hope to see you all there!

thanks Irwin.... the file I uploaded has you down as POP ID 5062.

I guess I messed up in the original naming of the players. Odd as all the info was derived from the players database.

I'll try to fix it myself and if not get Charlie or ProfDave to alter the details

:( I can't change it :(

You are there Irwin its just that all the letters in your name are incorrect :(
