Returning need Advice.

Simply put I have decided to come back. I left the game as soon as the new Diamond and Pearl set came out, I know I have missed a lot, but im willing to do whatever it takes to come, but I need some advice where should I start?
 
You only missed 3 sets. So just return as if you were just still playing.

Do stockpile up on SW stuff tho. Lots of goodies there.

So stock up on that. Also ive been hearing that Mario is a good inexpensive deck what set do most of the main cards in that come from?
 
DP1. Lucario and Machamp are both in that.

Tho

If you want to have a cheap deck....get yourself 4 CG Shuppets and go nuts with SW's Banette.

The only reason it was even semi plausible was because of all the castform running around. Mario was able to get lucky and win T1 by knocking out lone Castform starts. It's the only thing it was good for. Now since Castform is gone, Mario is completely useless.
 
I think the idea of not laying mario is grand, the most popular is garllade, its good if i was starting again i'd
play that or hurrican and theres DWD its good, Blissy isnt that bad and its cheap, magmortar is good
